All good and value for money

In trying to simplify my life, I looked upon my cutlery draw and asked... "Why do I have 20 things and I only ever use 4 of them?"Many years ago I worked in a kitchen, a Santoku was my one and only knife, and it did everything I needed with precision.This one though? It is the right size and weight for pretty much and home cooking job.This is a chopper, not a cleaver, if you are looking to go through bone etc. maybe go for something heavier. As a heavy knife for vegetable chopping, slicing meat, even using the back edge of it to de-scale fishThe edge was clean and sharp on arrival, test cuts were very good, another 5 minutes on the sharpener and it was slicing paper. There is a slight curvature to the blade edge allowing an easy rocking and slicing motion depending on what you are using it for.The handle is ok, made well, my only gripe with separate handles is that they can occasionally harbour bacteria in the crevices. This one is cheap enough to chuck in the dishwasher though, i'd never do that with most knives but the grade of steel on this can handle it, I just have to remember to use the whet stone after.Quality knife, at a great price. Only gripe is that I wish they could do it with a choice of multiple handle colours for specific allergy/ethical/religious dietary requirements, as with the potential for dirt ingress etc. I cannot guarantee uncontaminated

Cutting meat is so much easier now.

Amazing cleaver, it looks great, i use it all the time when cooking at home now. Comfy handle, ideal weight, perfectly sized for the cuts of meat i eat. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

It’s not as sharp or weighty as I thought but it’s adequate.
