TACTICAL GEARZ Damascus Pocket Knife, Ebony Handle w/Carved Steel Head, Multi-Layered Damascus Steel VG10 Blade, Includes Stitched Leather Sheath (Kratos XT)

The knife is beautiful in all respects. The handle has some heft which feels great in the hand. There is attractive detail work w/ the metal accents. The ebony handle is textured along is length which improves grip and feel, very comfy in my medium sized hand. All of the metal edges are well done, very smooth, and no tooling marks. The damascus pattern is very attractive and the carved out section of the spine is very nicely done and makes the blade look quite elegant. I've noticed that if the knife isn't used for a little while it can be difficult to eject the blade, the mechanism gets very stiff but it will loosen w/ use. There are no loose fittings or rattles. The leather lanyard, while not very strong looking, is soft and has just the right look. There is a small "angle" on the bevel about 1 1/2" back from the tip rather than a continuous curve but its just a cosmetic thing. The sheath is also very attractive and seems well made but the leather is a little thin so I'll have to see how it lasts over time. Overall, great knife to have on your belt for out of home activities.
