I love this set of grow lights! I was looking specifically for the light bar that had a high Kelvin rating as well as at least 4 bars. I was able to find this one which has worked perfectly for growing my plants from seed. I love that the cord is long enough to be able to separate them for each of my shelves. The timer is great because I don't have to worry about remembering to turn them on or off. While I started out using the zip ties to tie the bars to the shelves, I realized I needed to have the light closer to each of my containers of plants. So, I had to remove the ties and came up with an alternate solution which works just as well. I wish the lights were a bit longer in length, but the price was great, and it works for my first attempt at growing seeds inside. My peas started growing before the lights came in, but now with this light, they now have outgrown the pots! Since they are LED lights, they're cool to the touch, and I don't have to worry about them putting off any excess heat and melting my lids.

I really like these so far. They are my first experience with grow lights & 5 months in, my plants are doing well & the lights are holding up great! They are easy & light weight to set up. Ibuse twist ties to attach them instead of the mini zip ties or adhesive that is included because I want to be able to rearrange them easily. The dimmer has a good range. I haven't used the timer function as I check on my plant babies for heat on & off so I control the lights at the same time. Makes sense to have it though. The dimmer doesn't stay atbthe same setting if the power goes out or they are unplugged and they do not turn back on automatically if the power goes out...just so you are aware.

Work great but we're shorter than I exprxted, nice and bright with dimming function and timer you can even stagger the lights on and off so you can have on 2 lights, 1 light or all three

I love these. They’re the perfect size(16in) and they let off great lighting. My little seedling plants have been growing great under these lights. I’d definitely buy them again.

I guess I didn’t read the description properly, but if you set a timer the lights automatically turn on for that set amount of time every day! Such an awesome, convenient feature!

When I first received the product, it worked as PERFECTLY. However, a few months later, only HALF of the lights turn on, and the TIMERS FAILED to turn them on as well. UNFORTUNATELY, they were no longer eligible for return! How frustrating!!!!I just bought a new plant stand and I WILL NOT BE USING THESE LIGHTS. I wanted lights WITHOUT a timing mechanism. I chose different lights that don’t have a timing mechanism and it’s purely manual. I did this purposely because I wanted the lights to be plugged into a universal timer. Also, if you wanted to put these lights on a mechanical timer, it’s IMPOSSIBLE because once it’s off, they must be manually turned back on.If you are going away, there’s a problem unless you have someone to come to your house EVERY DAY to put your grow lights on while you’re away, OR your plants won’t receive the proper light, and/or proper amount of darkness. I’m very disappointed.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.**EDIT: The company was kind enough to give me a full refund. I will not change my review, but at least I was reimbursed.

My wife wanted some grow lights on her two foot wide backers rack. I bought two of these sets and ty-wrapped four lights to the underside each shelf. They work great. I use the twelve hour timer setting so every morning they automatically turn on at the same time of day. I'm going to buy another set that way I can use all six shelves as a seed starter stand.
