I purchased the 9 ft surf rod not having much expectation and it did not disappoint after 6 months of using it on saltwater shorelines. I've caught 24 inch stripers, 4 foot leopard sharks, and 25 pound bat rays with it and it handled them all with ease. It's not a Penn or a high end Daiwa but I feel it performs just as well. I was able to cast 4 ounce weights a mile with it and as much force a giant bat ray puts on it, it seems sturdy as heck.

Don’t know if it’s for salt water fishing but worked great on it. What I do know it’s super light and strong. I caught a big catfish and a shark pulled them out with no problem. Another great perk I can cast it very far. I am so content with this fishing pole.

It’s great for a long distance casting

For the price really excellent. Have caught a few big fish on mine and the action felt just as it should. The handles are nice, not really nice, but nice. Honestly, I don’t think you could justify paying probably double or triple for a rod thats going to hardly out perform this rod.

Haven’t used it yet, but so far it seems like a good pole for the money. Package was nice and solid so I wasn’t worried about taking out a broken pole so that was appreciated. I paired it with a kastking sharky3 4000 and it was a great fit. I’m taking it surf fishing at the end of may so I’ll know then if it was truly a good purchase

On the very first day of using this rod the loop broke, as you can see in the first picture the protector to protect the fishing line has broke off. Very disappointing

The rod gives me more distance in my casts. I am able to put the bait where I want it when I cast. It held up well catching heavier fish. Well made, quality rod.
