Arrived on time and packaged well I'm a massive fan of air conditioning with this being my 5th unit over the past 10 years but this make/model is more noisy than any of the previous 4 I usually go for 15000 btu but decided try a more powerful btu in this 18000 I'm not convinced though could be that it has a refrigerant leak as it does not cool as well, admittedly the weather has not quite got up to humid temperatures as yet so time will tell it's worth it for the price I paid I suppose.

Really has helped to get us through the summer with my grandson feeling the heat on a night , it’s a bit noisy but because it’s a constant noise it’s easy to get to sleep with it left on

I bought this for my conservatory. It’s only 12ft x 12ft. The machine throws out cold air but doesn’t seem to cool the room. Roof blinds and window blinds closed. It’s only cool if you’re stood next to it. It’s says it cools a 240ft square room. It doesn’t. As for a comfy and peaceful sleep environment. The honest opinion is. You might as well be at a Download festival. And it rattles. I think the description is very exaggerated. Possibly the write up is for a different machine. Whoever created this product is more than welcome to come to me before September and I’ll gladly prove my point. It’s a lot of money. Big numbers and an incorrect description in my opinion. Anyone else who got this will probably agree with me. I hope this helps others that choose this product.Regards all.

it states that if I return this item it must be repackaged in its original packaging. That means that I would need to keep somewhere the original packaging for the statuary 1 year that all electrical products sold in the uk have. I decided to ask about this as it seems unreasonable to have to keep a large box for 1 year,After several attempts the supplier did finally answer the question - they seem to dodge around the actual question which was can i return this item within the 1 year period without the original packaging. The answer is yes. So I can now throw out this large empty box and the large protective polystyrene packaging .Incidentally I did speak to a adviser in consumer law who said that the request to return the item in its original packaging as stated is unreasonable and and would not stand up to legal scrutinyThe machine itself works well and cools down a workshop that is around 56 sq meters a bit on the noisy side but they all are unless you go high end but they do cost a lot so I am going to say its good value for money would of given 5 stars had they been straight with me about the packaging question.

Very bad and poorly made product, it's sound like a drilling machine, it's not good for home, I can't hear anything if the a/c is working everybody in my house is complaining no body can sleep if the a/c is on, i tried to see if I can get it changed or replace for another one but i was surprised to hear that is not possible to return the a/c, £419 wasted, the hope of enjoying the summer is dash, I can't afford to buy another one, the sound over shadow the cooling, all my house is shaking, not a good choice for any house.

We bought unit on a chance, as it had yet to be reviewed and the price difference with other 18000 BTU units was significant enough.The product looks good and cools a 240ft sq. room in about 60 minutes, from hot to cool.There's 3 modes (dehumidifier, fan and cool) and an app to run it via wifi, if in another room, you could start it up before entering, though I did not see the point.The 3 speed settings are notably different and help. The vent feature allows the top vent to widen and narrow, varying the airflow, but doing little else that I could see.The dual drain features at the back are useful. The continuous drain filled a small container in 3 hours; however it also has an automatic shut off when the internal tank is full, but with 6 days of continuous evening use, we have yet to discover how long this takes.As a larger unit, we expected some noise, and compared with other units we have seen, it is noisier, however not excessively so. And a little noise for the benefits of a chilled room is worth it.The 'sleep' function still continues the cooler running at the same noise and speed, just seems to turn off the LCD display. Other units run quieter.It is heavy. 2 persons needed to carry upstairs. We had to choose the window seal unit carefully, but this was easy from the choices on Amazon.A quirk of the unit is that if you change modes from 'cool' to fan, the cool mode won't restart unless the unit is turned off at the wall, and then turned back on again.Unfortunately, a loose internal connection upon arrival meant the temperature sensor did not work. This was resolved with prompt response from the customer service, however the unit is a different model to that I was offered support for, and I needed to open the product to self-repair it. Something other customers may not be so willing to do.Overall, we bought the unit with no expectations in mind and continue to enjoy a cooler bedroom.

Great value for money and does an amazing job
