Perfect
Bought the 7a for hubby as was on a really good offer by Amazon with charger for £240 as the difference in the newer "a" models are really minimal for the price increase. This still has over three years of updates left which is great value. Smooth running phone, easy set up and great camera. Also size is good at 6.1 inch, the larger displays are great but not very practical for pockets and small handbags. All in all, a sound and great little phone. Recommended.

Great phone, particularly for the price
Really happy with this. Easy to start, easy to load things to, camera is great and has fantastic capabilities like erasing objects/people, sound quality is great and the batter lasts me all day.

Fantastic build great in hand feel
I'll keep this brief, it has amazing accuracy when using voice to text when writing email texts ect fast and fluid takes great pictures consistently ,love the Google assistant integration, and the fact it has no bloatware, boots up incredible fast from off , charging speed is slower than most android phones, but tbh it's not really an inconvenience, can charge wireless, at 7.5 , phone was really easy to set up from new , speakers sound loud and clear for my needs , finger print I find just register the same finger print a couple of times , I used both hands to I have a couple of prints from each , so it responds as it should, I don't regret getting a pixel 7a , and I'm now a pixel fan for as long as I'm buying phones, it genuinely offers everything I want from a smartphone without any unessential business

Not disappointed
Having looked for a while for a new phone I decided this was the best option for my needs. I was swapping from iOS to Android which is not the easiest shift to get used to but it is doable. The phone comes with an adapter to connect your iPhone and pixel. Hint: back up your iPhone before you set up the pixel and transfer your information during set up it's much easier than doing it after. I predominantly wanted this model for the camera options. I have to say that it does an excellent job. The magic eraser is a nifty little tool and the long exposure and night mode are great for capturing stars. It has a huge memory in comparison and you can expand that for a nominal fee. Battery life is excellent and it doesn't take as long as I expected to charge, certainly not overnight as I was told. Fingerprint recognition is a little temperamental at times but overall it works fine. The only problem I have encountered was it did not transfer my WhatsApp chat history. I think this may have been because I didn't transfer my data during setup which is why I recommend you do so. If you're thinking of a good all-round mid range phone with an excellent camera you can't go far wrong with this one.

My Best phone
Replaced my Pixel 4 (which had died after 4 years), love Google phones. Great camera, screen brightness and sound quality. I love the Sea blue colour, it's not heavy to carry around, has all the safety functions like face recognition and fingerprint reader. They are great value for money.

Refurb Pixel7a classed: 'Acceptable' Amazon Exclusive.
Bought from Amazon with 30w charger bundle.Have to say it was a gamble on the 'acceptable'. (Their description:: Condition: Used - Acceptable - Display has cosmetic imperfections but is usable. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged).I thought there would have been some light scratches on screen or on the phone but I was pleasantly surprised to see none at all! Kudos to Amazon, even the box although obviously opened was in very good condition. The phone works perfectly and with both face and finger recognition although I use my left thumb to unlock and it has worked every time. I have added a screen protector too.Battery life is too early to comment on but for the few days I have had it I find it lasting well with a fair amount of use (hence the 4 stars).I had an old wireless charger which still works a treat even though it dates back to a Galaxy S9+, it charges as expected and that was one of the main reasons I bought the 7a having used a 6a before without the wireless charge. No heat issues at all btw.The phone overall is perfect for me, no, its not the largest of screens but I am not bothered as I find it better to carry and use than other large screens I have had.Although it has no memory card slot it is enough for my use and it plays games smoothly. I am looking for any negatives and as yet I honestly cannot find one.Photos show phone that is in a case from Ringke Fusion which I would recommend if you need a clear case, buttons work great with no force needed.

Battery swollen in 1 year. SAFETY Issue. Don't buy.
The media could not be loaded. Worst decision I made to buy a Pixel due to brand value. Battery is swollen within 1 year. Now after using it for exactly 1 year, I started observing battery drains crazily after 30%, to be specific just like a second countdown and device shuts down. And in next few days of observing this, i see battery is swollen and back panel is opened due to that.Review: Google's brand value didn't made it to mobile phone business. It is good in data and IT, should have stayed there. Pixel has lot of AI features you will even ever use. But I see they compromised BASIC technology aspect called Functional and SAFETY!Even after warranty repair, I lost value for google, first impression was worst impression. Not going to resell it but might scrap it in proper and safe way. I won't risk passing compromised safety to anyone further.
