Don't listen to the one star reviews...
Okay...don't listen to the one star reviews. "Not sturdy at all", "piece of junk", "hard to read instructions", "impossible to put together", "falls apart", "made of cheap particle board". My husband and I built this dresser together at 1 in the morning. We were exhausted after a long day of work. Yet, we still managed to read the directions and put it together correctly. It took around 2 hours to build and it required BOTH of us. I held pieces in place while my husband drilled them together. The dresser IS sturdy once it is 100% completely built. It ISN'T study while building it. The instructions are all pictures and no words. If you can build IKEA furniture, you can build this. All the pieces are labeled in the book and there are stickers on each piece of particle board. It's not rocket science. As far as someone saying 'cheap particle board'. Yes. particle board IS cheap. All of it is. Even IKEA, Walmart and Target furniture is. THAT'S WHAT KEEPS THE COST DOWN! You will never find a $130 dresser made out of SOLID wood. It will be ungodly expensive and heavy as hell. My suggestion is...if you don't want 'cheap particle board'...don't buy a $130 dresser. This dresser is nice for the price point. The top supports up to 150 lbs and each drawer supports up to 20 lbs. I was skeptical in the beginning regarding the bottom of the drawers. It was really flimsy and I was unsure of how it would hold 20 lbs. Once the drawer was built and we screwed in the clips, it helped drastically. Like I said, a nice dresser for the price point!

Pretty on the Outside Rotten on the Inside
This dresser is the perfect fit for your home if you like crumbling, flimsy, and gross furniture. Let me explain! When I first got this I was slightly disappointed in the color not being quite what I thought it would be but shrugged it off. Can't always match color correctly when buying online. Then came to the assembly of the thing. It took about two to three hours of trying desperately to adjust everything just to get it together. After it was assembled in my home I was thrilled, it looked pretty okay, but about two weeks in I started to notice something odd on the inside of my drawers. This absolutely disgusting dark grey dust was clinging to the inside of the drawers and spreading. I honestly thought it was mold at first. I quickly remembered removing the drawers to clean them was a no go because they are BOLTED INTO THE DRESSER AND THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THEM OUT! So in order to keep the gross grey dust away you have to empty every drawer daily, and clean only the inside. Let's talk about the bottom of the drawers. They are flimsy and fall off constantly causing jams in the drawers when you try to close them, but this is suggesting that the drawers actually close. In order to close these drawers, you have to close them and hold it in place for a few minutes and pray as you take your hand away, that they will stay closed. One of the bottoms of my drawers fell out causing a jam, and during the process of trying to put it back together, the drawer completely fell apart on me. I've taken photos of the drawer and the disgusting black dust that it collects. In all seriousness, I wouldn't buy this product, don't throw away your money. It looks nice, but it's at the price of your money, time, and one major headache.

Beautiful , sturdy , high quality ! Don't put together yourself or you'll be sorry .
I wanted a new dresser for my birthday . I liked the finish on this one and the low price was a deciding factor . I'm 68 , my husband is 60 ,and our son is 44 . We are all in varying degrees of poor health but have put dressers together before and weren't concerned . Ha Ha believe me this could be done by one person by using workshop tables but it would be extremely difficult . This dresser took the three of us most of the day because we needed breaks in between the yelling and actual work . The pictures which are the instruction book are so confusing .There are numerous pieces, that are numbered , however some of them are numbered with numbers that are not in the booklet . The booklet has numbers that don't exist on the pieces . But that was not even the most difficult part . The multiple pre drilled screws and which hole to put them in was a nightmare . The pictures just are not adequate .Now the dresser is absolutely beautiful ! It came with some scuffing but polishing got most of that out . It is very sturdy and made so well it was a surprise to us all . I highly recommend it ! Just do yourself a huge favor and pay to get it put together . Even with that extra cost it is well worth the money . I love it !
