A very nice facial serum that works quite well on my mature combination skin. Helps to moisturize and condition the more mature side of my skin to help soften the skin and make it look more youthful looking. Makes the skin more supple and elastic while also providing it with some moisturization. Softens the skin and also brightens the complexion. The combination side of my skin appreciates that this seems to be quite clean and does not irritate my skin to cause any sort of breakouts. Also, it does not leave any unwanted residuals along the surface of the skin. Once set, it's not oily nor greasy. Nor is it tacky or sticky. It's all the stuff you want without any of those things that you do not want.Easy to use with other skincare products. It's also easy to wear under your makeup, though best to let it fully set, which it does quickly, before applying.Excellent for all skin types, but I would think that it might be best for those with slightly oily to dry skin. Just as easy and good to use for men as it is for women.

I don't have a lot of experience with ginseng skincare products. I think the only other ginseng I've tried was in the Donginbi Moisture & Firming Essence. And I don't remember being all that impressed with the results. But this Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Ampoule is a real game changer. In terms of formula, it's not a typical viscous or oily serum product. As a matter of fact, it's only slightly thicker than an essence/toner and melts down to a very watery consistency on contact with the skin. It absorbs instantly and isn't the least bit sticky. And it creates the slightest opalescent sheen on the skin, making it ideal for daytime use. It really gives such a nice glow. But temporary effects aside, after just a few days use, I noticed improvements in both the tone and texture of my skin. It's smoother, brighter and a bit glow-y. Sulwhasoo is one of the few luxury-priced skincare lines coming out of Asia, but my results say it's worth the extra money. I guess you really do get what you pay for.

Formula has changed and doesn't work like it used to. Also in a plastic bottle now, in the past was always in nice glass bottles. For the premium price you are paying the packaging is now cheap and formula is not as good

I could actually smell the ginseng in this which is cool! This feels like a concentrated serum. I can’t speak yet to it’s long term benefits but based on my short term use, my skin felt immediately hydrated. The serum absorbs quickly into the skin. It comes in a chic dropper bottle and contains many other interesting ingredients besides ginseng. For instance - tranexamic acid is one of my new fave skincare ingredients which I’ve seen great results with. What don’t I like? The fact that it contains some tho one as it’s second ingredient, or at all for that matter. When I first received this product, I wasn't really sure what it was. After some research, I found out that an ampoule is basically a serum with a higher concentration of active ingredients. The way that I've been using this ampoule is as an additional layer after my regular serum. I've been using it once a day at night, just on my cheeks. I let my regular serum absorb in and then put a thin layer of the ampoule on. It is making the skin on my cheeks look brighter and firmer. I'm going to start using it on my whole face since I love what it is doing for my cheeks. I haven't noticed a huge decrease in my dark spots but I think that will come in time. The scent is pretty strong and earthy. It's not my favorite but it doesn't linger for long. Overall, I'm happy with the results I've seen so far and am definitely going to keep using this!

I have been used this Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Brightening Ampoule for 3 days now, I really love it.The serum has a white color with a deep Ginseng scent. I love this Ginseng scent, feels there are a lot of good ingredients inside. The scent won't linger too long, will disappear soon. Even the bottle looks small, you really don't need a lot every time when you apply, a couple of drops are all my face needs. The serum is very easy to spread and gets absorbed quickly. After applying, my skin feels soft and smooth.After 3 days usage, I have noticed my skin is improving. It looks more energetic and my fine lines are less noticeable. While I am still waiting to see the improvement on the dark spots, the current improvement already amazes me.I think this serum is working pretty well on me. I love the product and I am very happy to continue using it.
