Very cool game, needed some support from Dad but the kids enjoyed the challenge - they still are enjoying it, plenty to explore

I bought Code Gamer as a gift for my son's 10th birthday. It took him 10 minutes to put the kit together and a further ten minutes of playing on the app, for me to release that it is definitely not age appropriate for my son, It has been put back in the box and not looked at again since! My son tells me that the app - which you can down load free of charge without paying for Code Gamer - has zero stars, not a good indicator! Suggest you try out the free app before you spend your hard earned cash on this item! Not impressed :(

My son (age 10) saw the ‘Code Gamer’ on a review website earlier in the year and was very keen to get his hands on it to learn coding and how to develop games. He was very excited to receive it for his birthday and he hasn’t been disappointed. The video games and puzzles work very well as a way to teach Arduino programming language. I’m also happy as he’s gaining an understanding of coding, which will only benefit his development.

The game comes with a mobile phone app. To use the app you have to compile an Arduino sketch. This is pre-installed but if you use one of the other sketches the source code does not compile because of an error in C++. A request for help has been ignored.

Bought for Christmas heard great things

My nephew found this game challenging which kept he busy, and that's a good thing.

The app that is needed to do anything with this product doesn't work with any version of android from 2019 and newer. Complete waste of money. And no support at all from the manufacturer. STAY AWAY!!EDIT: The seller is refusing to refund any of my money even though they are knowingly selling a product that cannot work unless you haven't updated your phone or tablet since 2018. I really hope nobody else buys this product or has to deal with this seller as you are going to be wasting your money for something that is not even good as a paperweight at this point

Christmas gift he love it

This was too complicated for my 11 year old grandson. He enlisted a very tech savvy teen - and he had difficulty with it as well.
