Wolf Garten JAM20 Multi-Change Ridger

Fabulous tool for preparing my allotment garden, takes all the backache out of preparing beds for spring planting.

This is my latest addition to my collection of Wolfgarten garden tools. It was delivered ahead of the scheduled delivery date, and upon opening the box I was amazed at the size of this hefty piece of garden implement, I instantly thought that it will save me time when planting rows of potatoes, instead of digging each hole, placing the seed potato in it and covering it and moving along on my knees to repeat again and again.Now I can draw this item along the earth to make a furrow, place the potatoes in and cover with earth, job done in a fraction of the time and the bonus … I am spared spending ages on my knees. Great for potato planting and ridging. Can also be used to prep for planting other stuff too.

The media could not be loaded. I wasn't expecting this to be such a big sturdy piece of kit but I'm glad it is.As you can see from the pictures and video the tool creates a perfect trench for potatoes with ease so is well worth the money.I haven't used it for earthing up between the rows since it's too early in the season for that but I've confidence that it will do a great job.Wolf produce very good quality tools which are excellent value and this is no exception.The head is extremely robust so would probably cope well with trenching for shallow irrigation pipes as long as the ground was stone free.Collecting all the various heads from Wolf is becoming an addiction but I'm sure I'm not alone in my affliction.Highly recommended.
