This adapter allows us to charge anywhere there is electric vehicle charging. We are no longer limited to the Tesla network of chargers. Occassionally, in out of the way areas Tesla charging is not available. This adapter solves that problem.

You will need to make sure the CCS plug is pushed all the way into the adapter otherwise your charge speed will be lowered.

I've used this thing several times at different stations, never had a problem. Didn't get hot or anything weird. Other chargers are way less convenient and easy to use than Tesla chargers but you're looking at this thing because you're figuring it might be necessary/convenient to charge at another type of station once in a while. Occasionally it will be and this adapter will do the job for fast chargers- you don't need it for the level 2 slow chargers, you can use the adapter Tesla supplies for those ones- this is for the DC fast chargers.

I really dislike that it does not work, I have tried on three different CCS chargers, and it does not work. It will not connect to my car, it will not charge at all, Francis, electrify America, and blink. I have tried all of them and this device simply refuses to do anything. Yes I did install correctly, the connections were good, the product will not work.

It’s unfortunate that you need to buy all these different adapters but this is well made and works well
