It has recently become my mission to mitigate some of the damage being done to Crazy Aaron's thinking putty by consumers who write knee-jerk negative reviews.Crazy Aaron's products help a lot of people - children and adults. The company, which is based in Pennsylvania, employs people with disabilities. The putty is also made in the US.In the photos I demonstrate a situation with Crazy Aaron's putty that has lead some to conclude it is "ruined!" or "dried out!" or "melted!" The first photo shows the putty immediately upon opening. At this point some people panic and assume it is "ruined!" The second is immediately after peeling the contents away from the can and the black light inside of the bag. It takes a little work to pull it free of the can, but eventually you gain purchase, and it just peels up.Admittedly it seems "hard" - but it's a thin sheet of silicone putty backed by aluminum, so yes, it will seem hard. The final photo is after about a minute of good kneading and stretching. Totally fine. Totally ready to brighten a day.Okay, let's address another common issue: cans are too hard to open. This has also lead to unnecessary negative reviews. There's an entire video on the company's website which addresses this situation. Twist while opening. Not a lot - just a little twist.Another complaint: it moved around in the can. It will. It's a non-Newtonian fluid. It's putty. It flows slowly.As far as this putty specifically, Howl, it is great. It is not scented - not sure why the description states that it is. It has a very nice metallic sheen to it, and a subtle "glow in the dark" feature. It's firmer than the Super Illusions putties, but not hard or difficult to work. It also comes with a black light and nifty transparency that allows you to simulate the phases of the moon on your putty. You place it on top of the putty, activate the putty with a light to make it glow, and when you remove the stencil it looks really cool.

We have many cans of Aaron’s Thinking Putty. They are all wonderful and exactly as described. They are great for squishing, stretching, snapping, rolling and even bouncing. I have extreme anxiety and this is my absolute favorite. I love the rich, shiny silver color!

I bought this gift for my husband. He really really likes this stuff. He found it years ago and it’s been something that I get him as a gift. It’s in a while. Enjoy it.

Really beautiful and fun to play with — both in the light and in the dark!! Both my friend’s putty and mine of just this “Howl” color noticed a really strong, fairly unpleasant, metallic smell. It’s not in any of the other of Aaron’s putties (including other of Aaron’s glow in the dark putties!). Besides the smell, though, it really is gorgeous and fun to play with.

I ordered the Jingle because of the color. I've bought my grandson Crazy Aaron's for many years and always get him a special one for Christmas. Ordered this one because he loves red. Waited forever for it and now it's too late to get what I wanted. When Jingle is the goal, Halloween doesn't work.As far as thinking putty goes, it's wonderful. The whole family gets new ones for Christmas and everyone loves it.

Grand daughter loves it. Glow's in the dark and comes with a light to charge it too

My kids love the invisible UV light that comes with this putty. Many of my friends that saw this went on to purchase after seeing this. I'd highly recommend vs a traditional putty.

Bought it for my granddaughter and she loves it. She has ADHD and she is always fiddling with things....it is perfect for a "fiddler"
