Bought this to keep dog out of kitchen. I love that it auto shuts and it’s easy to use. Easy install. I got mine used at a good price but I’d pay OG price if I needed another one! The size is perfect fit for us and the quality is strong.

I’ve purchased several of these gates and like how easy they are to operate and that the pet door slides up rather than swings open like others I’ve had. The latest order I made I received the wrong color, annoying but the gate still functions fine.

We are very happy with this gate. Use it on our covered porch to keep the dogs on the but still allow the cats out. Sturdy and opens and closes as described. Easy to open but not so easy that the toddler can open it! We use it as a temporary install when family is visiting. The caution about not cutting the one zip tie before it is installed made me wonder because obviously the zip tie would be gone for subsequent installations. I would recommend leaving it on when you first install it but simply pay attention to why it is there and you should have no problem. In fact, after I removed it, I put my own zip tie back on it for easier reinstall.

I was very skeptical about this gate, but after 8 months of use it is still going strong despite my 115 pound dog busting through it, knocking it out of place but he still hasnt broken it and he finally understands what it means. It stays in place securely. As I said a giant german sheppard chasing a cat can bust through pretty much anything and has knocked it out of place a few times but never broken it. It has an opening the cats can fit through which can also be closed. Very much worth the money. Comes with some spare parts which we havent needed! Not to mention 3 teenage boys that open and shut it constantly with teenage exuberance! Great product for us!

This gate is well made, sturdy, and attractive (5-stars). Installation is not as easy as the instructions and videos make it (3-stars). The door's height is easy to adjust, and that is a major flaw (1-star).I have four cats and a 34 pound tri-color Beagle. I installed the gate at the top of the stairs to make it possible for the cats to go upstairs, but stop the Beagle; the door opening was set to 6 inches.Now, I'll explain why the door's height adjusting mechanism is a major flaw: It moves upward easily since its held in place by pressure against the vertical stanchions. Imagine my surprise when I go upstairs and my Beagle is on the other side of the gate! He simply got his head through and pressed upward with his shoulders; I checked the height and it was over 7 inches.I will figure-out a way to lock the height at 6 inches, then it will be, "Sorry, Barney."

This installed quickly even with baseboards. Seems sturdy & well made. Our 15 pound cubby kitty fits through the opening fine. This was my major concern. Easy to open door once you do it a couple times. Nice not to have to pickup food all the time to keep the dogs from gobbling it up.
