Excellent product!
I have used this product in mixing latex paint that has set on the shelf for several months with excellent results.

Well made
Nothing like a good mixer to stir up a gallon (or five) of paint. This one is well thought out, sturdy and a good price. No complaints.

Best paint mixer for 1 gallon can
I had an old gallon can (>1 year) of a VERY thick DryLok HD-9000 waterproofing paint. I opened the half-full can and found a massive blob on the surface. I tried to stir it but the blob could not be dissolved. Seeing that the can cost me more than $50, I decided to give this modestly priced stirrer a try. To my amazement, this mixer worked like a miracle. I attached it to my DeWalt cordless drill and within one minute of stirring, the blob was gone! I quickly learned, however, that the speed of the mixing had to be approached with caution. Once I cleaned up the paint spatter, I mixed for another 30 seconds or so. The paint magically returned to the creamy consistency I remember seeing when I first purchased the product. The clean up was a breeze. I just let the excess paint drip back into the can, used my paint brush to wipe up the remainder and finally, I held the business end of the stirrer under a stream of water. VoilĂ , the stirrer was returned to the condition of its first delivery. I read with curiosity the reviews of this stirrer being broken upon first use. I'm guessing that the product being mixed in those instances may have been beyond what this little contraption was designed to do or, perhaps, the speed of the mixer may have been too fast to accommodate the inherent inertia of the product being mixed. For me, with this very thick and dense waterproofing paint, this product was a godsend.

Best price
Many sellers offer the same design but I still found this as an equal or better and still matched the best price. Not sure of why various colors that are offered since these are used to stir paint but still very handy for homeowners who paint.

Very easy to use.
Work great for mixing up some joint compound and also easy sand. Great for small amounts.

Works well but be careful
Attached to my drill and went to work painting.ONE IMPORTANT TIP! - Always put the stirrer into the paint FIRST, before starting the drill. ALWAYS. Especially if you are working with a full bucket or can. Then start VERY slow. Otherwise it will be like a blender with the lid off and you will have a big mess. START SLOW!But it works fine. Saves a lot of time. I was using paint that had been sitting for a long time and I needed to mix it well. This stirrer saved me lots of time!I like it.I use latex paint so clean up was easy.
