This was a good replacement for an umbrella tube that broke. This has two fasteners to secure the pole, so that's better than one for stabilization and longevity over the years (the wind will loosen one fastener easily over time). This comes with a long bolt for the base. You need to MEASURE to see if it's long enough which it likely is. I had to use the old bolt because the base was in concrete and the bolt did not go all the way through. It was embedded IN the concrete so there was no way of using the new bolt unless I drilled a hole through the bottom and somehow drilled out where the current bolt is (which is not easy or wise). Luckily, the old bolt fit with the new sleeve/umbrella tube. The sleeve came with multiple plastic sizers to fit holes of different widths so measure that too.

I had to replace my old umbrella stand bc the screw got stripped. I didn’t want to buy a whole new stand and found this pole replacement instead. Very impressed with it. It is actually better than the original one. My umbrella fits very well and I don’t have any gaps so the umbrella sits very snug. It was very easy to replace my old one with this. It is very durable and seems to be very sturdy ! Definitely recommend. I got it few months ago and the stand is doing well.

The reason for 3 stars is the actual shaft is great. It seems to be very well made and fit my base. However, it came in a sealed box with no hardware. Nothing arrived except the shaft. I could have returned but I needed it for a planned event. I was able to find the bolt and washers at a local hardware store and was lucky to be able to use one of the tightening bolts from my old rusted shaft. I realize that mistakes do happen with packaging and shipping but there should be a way to communicate to the seller. When I tried on the Amazon site, it would not work and my only recourse was to send the product back and deal with a delay. I would buy this again, especially with time to send back if needed.Update: I was contacted by the company with an offer to make things right. This was both unexpected and appreciated. I have changed my review to 5 stars and would highly recommend both the product and especially this company.

I thought I would have to replace my entire umbrella stand because the screw that attached the pole holder to the base had bent and was rusted.This product was the perfect solution!We had to use a band saw to get the old one off, but installing the new holder to the base was easy! It came with options for various umbrella pole sizes. It is durable and I feel comfortable saying that I believe it will last for several years.

Perfect replacement! I did have to drill out the morning hole to scepter the 1/2 inch bolt that came with the new stem. Easy

My 40lb base broke with the first gust of wind immediately after putting an umbrella in it. I ordered this and now it's sturdy! Super simple install and replacement of the broken piece. Out of the box and installed in 2 minutes.

after only a few weeks, the hardware is rusting. guess this was meant for indoor use. too bad because otherwise it's not a bad product.
