Absolutely beautiful book!!! Written in a simple straightforward easy to understand format. What I particularly liked was it was written for the uk. The plants and vegetables used for dying were familiar and easily accessible.A perfect introduction to home dying with the nature we find around us.

I’ve followed Rebecca on Instagram for a while and was always intrigued by her use of soy milk as a mordant. I’ve dyed with acid dyes and citric acid before but have been keen to get into natural dying for a long time. What put me off was the use of alum which is no better for the environment than acid dying, or so I’ve read.This book tells you everything you need to know to just get on with it! From buying produce to dye with to gathering plants from nature, Rebecca has covered it.The photos are also beautiful and Rebecca provides examples of potential dye colours you can expect from various plants.I’m so happy I bought this book!

Brilliant book. Really informative yet easy to digest. It’s quite small (about A5) but has everything in it to begin your own practice. Also, I love that it is from a vegan point of view.

Great and clear information. Very inspiring. Cant wait to try out some foraging and dying.Would have preferred the book to be hardback as not sure it will wear well with the lots of use it will get.

Wondering if the author is my twin sister ;-) we're so alike. You can tell that she cares about nature. The book gives clear instructions so you're able to start your, probably new, hobby. It's a lovely book.

I literally studied this book. It's very interesting for starting using natural dyes. The writer explains in a very easy way everything. I think it can be more interesting for people that are using botanical dyes for the first time if you are an expert you might find it too easy.

A great little book with lovely photos and clear instructions. It's very inspirational and would interest anyone using natural botanicals to colour their fabric or experiment with!
