I bought 2 of these for my 4 year old twins and it was exactly what I was looking for. There were some complaints about it being to small - and it is on the smaller side BUT we are only using it for backyard bug hunting so I wasn’t expecting it to fit a large amount of bugs. Magnifying glass works well and the container is sturdy. For $10 you are getting exactly what is advertised.

This is smaller than it looked in the images. Although i suppose the measurements are correct. The tweezers are just about useless. But for the price, my daughter will love this.

Plastic is cheap and breaks within minutes of use.

this is really fun for collecting bugs and other fun stuff the lid is kind of annoying but the quality is good either way

Should have read reviews. The bug boxes I've purchased at the dollar store are better made. The plastic seems like it will snap so easily. Purchased for a trip to the cabin, I'll be shocked if it stays in one piece after 1 weekend. The tongs already had the center plug pop out and will not stay in. The snaps to the lid aren't very child friendly and if you don't open both sides at the same time I could see it snapping and breaking. Would not recommend if you want this to last more than a few days.

You definitely only get what you pay for. Case broke after a month of gentle use.
