So far ... so amazing!
I'm updating from an HP Envy 23 (2014, i5, 1TB SSD, 16 GB RAM) to this HP Envy 34. I wanted something durable and reputable with an i9 processor, at least 64 GB RAM, and a large (4+ TB) SSD, touchscreen. After researching both the standard reputable brands' websites, I checked Amazon. This HP Envy 34 has everything I wanted, except a touchscreen. I was a little nervous, since I normally prefer purchasing my computers directly from the manufacturer, getting their warranty. However, comparing available features, upgrade options, along with price, this one won out.The Envy 34 came in a huge box (approx 12x26x41). It is packed well, with foam that holds this fully assembled all-in-one securely. It's heavy and bulky, though (40-45 pounds), so arrange for assistance if you need to move it up/down stairs or vary far into the house before unpacking. The box has these cool clips, 2 along the bottom of each of the long sides, that unclip when you squeeze the vertical bars running vertically in the middle of the clips. Removing these allows the top of the box to slide up to access the computer and two boxes of accessories. My engineering/design side geeked out a little when I saw how these clips worked!Given the screen size, I don't need my third external monitor. This computer has a feature that allows multiple window arrangements (2x2, 3 wide, etc.) which will be amazing for arranging multiple windows while working from home and on my dissertation. (This might be a feature of Windows 11, I'm not sure, since I haven't worked much with Windows 11 yet.) The screen is large enough to comfortably accommodate 3 full page-size windows. So, it, along with one external monitor, will give me the screen area I need for my work.I already can run a lot more (multiple Chrome browsers with 80+ tabs across the, in multiple profiles, Adobe, Zoom, and Microsoft Office (or comparable) software simultaneously) seamlessly without any suggestion that the "not responding" notice or black screening I have become accustomed to on my aging Envy 23 is likely to occur. The ports are well positioned, with some on the vertical post of the stand and others arranged horizontally along the back of the computer. A brief test of the camera, mic, and speakers has left me pleased with their quality and features. I no longer need a separate microphone for video conferencing or external speakers for decent sound quality.Notes on features I missed when reviewing the item notes before purchasing:> This is not a touch screen (not a deal breaker, as I didn't use my former touchscreen as much as I expected, just something on my hoped-for list)> There is no optical drive (not a deal breaker, as I rarely use on and I can muse my external optical drive when needed)> It arrives fully assembled. No need to attach a stand like some other all-in-ones or monitors require.> It comes with a camera that sits magnetically atop the screen and connects by USB. The camera has a sliding privacy cover and plenty of adjustable tilt.> A clip slides into the vertical stand bar for managing cables> It has many more ports than I expected, eliminating my need for a docking station.>> 4 super speed 10 Gbps USB ports plus 2 5Gbps USB ports>> 2 USBC Thunderbolt ports plus 1 5 Gbps USBC port>> wireless charger in the base of the stand - smooth setup with my Pixel 7>> 1 HDMI out port>> 1 RJ-45 (network) jack>> 1 SD memory card reader>> audio in/out combo jack>> wireless mouse and keyboard (incl 10-key pad). I'm a bit of a keyboard and mouse snob, and I think the keyboard feels durable and is nicely responsive. The mouse is very similar to my current fav. Each runs on 2 AAA batteries (included). It's going to be a toss up whether I use my former fav keyboard (Microsoft Arc with separate 34-key numeric keypad) or the one that came with this HP Envy.Added unexpected bonus: the screen can be raised about 8", as well as turned horizontally and tipped, allowing for ergonomic adjustments. I wouldn't say it would accommodate standing desk height without a desk riser, but the tall people of the world will appreciate reduced neck fatigue (my 6'6" hubby among them).I also found software that allowed me to migrate my programs, files, profiles, and settings from my old all-in-one to this new one. Check out Zinstall. It required 15 hours to move nearly 700GB of stuff over an ethernet cable connection, but it was pretty seamless. I had to reinstall apps from Windows Store, reinstall my printer drivers, repin folders in File Explorer, and sign back into accounts. However, that is minor compared with having to reinstall all the programs, manually transfer files, and reset all the settings.Certainly time will tell how much I end up liking this new powerhouse, however. I'll repost with any updates/revisions I have as I get to know my new Envy 34 better.

Yes, But that Keyboard. Argggh!
No problems otherwise, so far. But the absolutely worst keyboard I've ever experienced. Feels like it was made for a ten-year-old's hands, has virtually no sensory cues.

I may never leave the house again....lol
WOw I looked at this computer and had it saved in my cart for quite some time but was short on funds to purchase it but finally saved up enough to get it. My old computer was just so slow and left me irritated all the time. THIS THING IS FAST. I also wanted dual monitors but with the size of this you only need the 1 and just split screen. BEST purchase I have made in a long time. Also it comes already assembled with the stand. You just have to plug it in and GO. Only down fall was I was used to touchscreen and this dont have it. I catch myself all the time reaching up to touch what I need to click on....I will get used to it though. A plus that it came with that is not listed is the base of the stand is a wireless charger for your phone and charges it fast.

Fast and Powerful
This AIC is more powerful than most tower and gaming computers. You need to understand that these sellers on Amazon typically upgrade the hardware in computers like this, though. I actually didn't realize this was a non-factory specification model that had been upgraded with better hardware including a better processor, more RAM, more storage, and a better video card. There was one issue with the computer needing an update, but the representative from the Amazon seller (not the manufacturer) was very good and fixed the issue. Other than the one issue, the computer has worked as I thought it should prior to purchasing it (i.e., fast with the ability to handle almost anything).

Just what I need
I bought this to replace a home-brew PC desktop that I've been upgrading over the years. It's perfect for what I need, which is mainly viewing, editing and processing photographs and day-to-day word and spreadsheet processing for work. I used Zinstall to migrate the old drives to the new. The sound system is adequate but for critical listening you'll want to use better quality external speakers or headphones.
