I love making Indian desserts(sweets). I made Almond Barafi and decorated with just a little touch of gold and silver leaf. It looks just beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the package in perfect condition. All the sheets were intact. I have used both gold and silver leaf on several occasions so it is very easy for me to handle the sheets. If you are using it for the 1st time be extremely careful not to breath over the foil or work near a drafty place. Once you loose it on the counter or if it sticks to your fingers you will not be able to retrieve it. Little pricy but worth every penny when you achieve the desired results. It comes with small silver squares as a bonus.

I ate it and didn't die or otherwise experience any negative side effects, so I'm pleased! It doesn't have any taste or mouthfeel whatsoever - I even tried balling up a full sheet and eating it and it was mostly undetectable.This stuff is tricky to work with. Very hard to apply it without the proper tools. If you get it on your fingers because you don't want to use tweezers or brushes like I didn't, leave it there while you work with it! It won't stick to itself very well so you can manage it a little better that way.The silver leaf was equally good, but it looks exactly like aluminum foil, so the presentation on food is somewhat lacking.

I ordered this to decorate a cake 1. some of the flakes came messed up already in the packaging and 2. it was kind of hard to use. You need a meticulous hand to handle the flakes. It was very adhesive to objects so it was hard to transfer to the cake. It looks great once we got the hang of it though. I would say there's a learning curve to using so practice a bit before using it on the real dessert.

Había comprado este producto en otra ocasión a otro proveedor, por eso tenía una referencia del tamaño, sin embargo, el que recibí ahora, es muy pequeño, la imagen que resalta en la publicación corresponde a 5 hojas plateadas, sólo al final de la publicación está la verdadera imagen de la hoja de oro y su tamaño real.Antes de comprar debes verificar muy bien el tamaño de la hoja de oro.

Fantastic gold leaf paper! It was my first time using gold leaf and it was so easy and with beautiful results. I was at ease knowing that I was not serving my family and guests something harmful.

Liked the flakes better than dust. It does require a bit of patience, as flakes tend to cling. Using small pieces takes practice. You can go through a lot of flakes if you don't take your time. End result definitely worth $, time & effort.
