Tacoma 3.5L V6 works great + Made in USA!
Toyota Tacoma 3.5L V6 and this plug works great! Very strong magnet! I was sloppy when trying to thread it and accidentally stuck it to the oil pan and had to use a shocking amount of force to get it free. Cleaned it off and got it in. Threaded without issue and seems great. Will try to update after my next oil change to see what it caught! Will be using a vortex magnetic plug in all of my vehicles moving forward and very grateful its made in USA!Arrived quickly, good packaging, installed without issue and fits exactly as expected. Do not hesitate to buy from Vortex

Great on my 1st generation Tundra
Product is well made. Good instructions. Great packaging. Fit like a charm in my 2000-2006 Tundra. Their torque rating seem low, but I didnāt even feel comfortable torquing to their āmaxā spec. No leaks even at 25% less torque than their max. Use your best judgment during install, donāt gorilla this thing on. This has been a game changer for oil changes!

Strong magnet, donāt settle for aluminum plug those twist off
M12x1.25 plug fits many Toyota engines and more, a popular size for Japanese makes. Expensive, yet i think it a good investment when you consider. Oil filters usually filter down to about 20 microns. This magnet will remove ferrous particles of all sizes including under 20 micron, reduce pump scarring (oil pump draws unfiltered oil from pan, if particles are arrested before entering pump itās a benefit even if theyāre large enough to be trapped by filter.) Gives an indication of engine health/ lube quality by monitoring the plug at service time. I've used cheap anodized aluminium magnetic plugs, the magnets were ok but unless you're super careful the aluminum twists off, then good luck removing the piece stuck in the oil pan. But this is stainless steel, works GR8. Did use original type fiber crush washer tho, the metal one that comes with this plug seemed oversized and may be more likely to drip a little. Engine now at 385k miles, runs well. If engine manufacturers really cared about longevity these should be OEM equipment, right? But why hurt future sales šTo manufacturer: Iām not dropping any stars for this, but the crush washer center hole should be smaller to keep it centered on plug (fit rather loose) and stainless plug isnāt necessary, steel would have been fine for me at lower cost, only the mechanicšØāš§ sees it anyway usually, and rust generally isnāt a problem w drain plugs. Would buy again!

Steel, low profile, and USA made
Overall, I like it. The only functional downside is, since the valve permanentlyand unavoidably protrudes into the oil pan, a very small amount of oil will not drain. You will only notice it if you, like me, usually wait until about the last drip with a regular drain bolt before putting it in. I actually tested it, and the amount of trapped oil is not enough for me to worry about, but enough to mention it.I chose this valve over many others since it's made in the US, made of steel and not brass, and has a low profile. It also has a very secure seal system. I think it can take as much of a hit as a regular bolt and not lose oil. Being low-profile, it is unlikely to be hit, or the blow would not be as severe. You cannot say that about the certain well known competitor product which has none of these advantages except perhaps one: it's self contained. The Votex does require you not to misplace the drain attachment, which isn't a big deal.Pricey perhaps, but being made in the USA justifies it. If you are planning to keep a car and go your own long term oil changes, it's worth it.

Quality plug, high heat magnet.
What I would say about this magnet vs. others is when a normal neodymium magnet is subjected to high heat it will lose itās power. There are several types of neodymium magnets. The manufacturer states that this is a high heat magnet, so it will retain it's magnetic power. That's why I bought it for a premium.

Excellent USA Made quality!
These are exceptional quality USA made plugs with magnets that are much stronger than other plugs I've purchased. They are a little expensive compared to the other options you'll find here but they are well worth it.They are perfect for my applications, which replace the crappy zinc plated plugs on the cooling pans for my F350. I have front and rear differential covers, a transmission cover and lower oil pan. These new pans are cast aluminum, increase fluid capacities and have cooling fins to reduce fluid temps. For my applications, the aluminum sealing washer that they come with was too big in diameter for my pans so I purchased smaller ones in copper to replace them. I could have also purchased aluminum versions but living in FL the aluminum will corrode quicker than the copper.Buy American! Support Americans!
