Transforms voltage down o.k.

This was easy to use and worked great, until we tried to pull too much current by plugging in a hair dryer. Unfortunately it does not have a replaceable fuse inside the transformer itself (just in the plug), so once it got too much load and fried, it became a useless brick. I'm now looking for an alternative that has better surge protection.

Whilst using the transformer on a device which draws a 100W transformer overheated and no longer functions.

Within five minutes of plugging it in, it made a popping noise and started smoking. When I requested a return, it came across as though they hadn’t read my reason for returning and I had to repeat myself. They were polite and refunded half of my money, but I’m left with a dud transformer and no idea if it ruined the device I plugged into it.

Works well with a technics sound processor vintage from 240v to 110v

This item did not work so I requested a return. The return was approved and I mailed it on Sept 7, 2023 at 16:27. It is now Oct 1st 23 and I still have not received a refund or any communication from this seller. I hope Amazon can intervene.

I dislike the fact that products such as these can leave a manufacturer without any proper quality checks.
