The quality of the mic is AMAZING first of all. Hardly any white noise when I listen to the monitoring function on my GarageBand. I had a blue yeti, and that broke on me after less than 10 uses. I have a portable tascam as well, but was unsatisfied with the amount of white noise it picks up. The Rode NT1 5th gen mic is perfect for ASMR, which is what I record with it. I have made plenty of recordings so far and all sound clear and crisp. I also love the USBc function, as I don’t have or want to get an audio interface. It plugs right into the device I’m recording on, as long as I have a USBc port or adapter. I am surprised this mic is not more expensive. I definitely recommend it! (In the picture I have it set up on a microphone stand, which I purchased separately. The mic does come with a suspender to attach to a stand… not pictured in my photo but still great)

Für 240€ hatte ich dieses Mikrofon gekauft.In der Verpackung waren folgende Sachen beinhaltet: 1 x NT1 5th Generation – Silber1 x SM6 Stoßdämpferhalterung & Popschutzfilter 1 x XLR-Kabel (6 m, schwarz)1 x SC29 USB-C-auf-USB-C-Kabel (3 m) 1 x Staubschutzhülle1 x NT1 5th Generation – Silber1 x SM6 Stoßdämpferhalterung & Popschutzfilter 1 x XLR-Kabel (6 m, schwarz)1 x SC29 USB-C-auf-USB-C-Kabel (3 m) 1 x Staubschutzhülle.Der Aufbau ging recht zügig, an XLR angeschlossen, noch richtig eingestellt und schon war das Mikrofon startklar.Die Verarbeitung von diesen Mikrofon ist sehr gut und auch die Tonqualität ist absolut überzeugend und es macht einfach Spaß mit diesen Mikrofon zu unterhalten.Es ist extremst rauscharm und es war bei meine Aufnahmen nie irgendwie der Fall, dass ich zu laut oder leise war. Was noch wichtig wäre: Es ist ein Großmembram Mikrofon, hat man es laut eingestellt, kann man schon gut den Hintergrund aufnehmen, hier ist die goldene Mitte der richtige Spot.Was man noch braucht, ist ein Audio-Interface, weil es mit USB die Qualität bemerklich anders klingt und nicht so gut als wie man es mit XLR betreibt.Für den Preis absolut zu empfehlen! Ich finde Rode hat hier einen sehr guten Job gemacht.

Fantastic condenser microphone love the 32 bit float feature and plugs directly into my Mac via usb c lead which is supplied Amazing sound quality on acoustic guitar and vocals too. Quality item from a quality seller. Wonderful.

Excellent pick up , mic is lighter but the Shock mount is too heavy & can be used only with sturdy Boom stand like Ride PSA1 or PSA1+. A desktop mic stand could be a value value add given the direct USB connectivity
