Kenwood KW712210 29-KW-50 KM Series Dough Hook

This is a recent purchase which the seller delivered in good time, about 24 hours turn around. Thank you to them.The downside first; I thought that the hook was metal, wrong! it is silver plastic. However, it fits onto my mother's kentwood which is at least 30 years old and it worked like a dream.so five stars for this piece of plastic which unless it breaks sometime soon is good value for money. If if does break, I will update this review.

Good well made and high quality bit of kit . It’s not plastic as someone incorrectly stated , it’s aluminium with a non stick coating . Cold to the touch and quite obviously a metal .Fits an old seventies mixer a treat . Has the bayonet type fitting , will fit the majority of kenwood chefs .

It fitted my heirloom Kenwood Chef. It's easy to clean. Only used once so far. Fine for foccacia bread dough. I haven't yet tried with normal bread dough. I did try it with pasta dough, but it didn't work so well. It may have been because I was only making a small quantity, or it may be that you need the heat of yours hands to get that smooth finish.

Well, it is just a dough hook and works as expected. My previous one got damaged (no idea why) and this is just a replacement. The hook is coated with a non stick layer, which does scratch quite easily, so best to wash it or put it into soak as soon as you have used it. Do not try to remove dried up dough with a rough cloth or scourer.

I bought the dough hook for my Kenwood Chef and very pleased with it. It works great I think my Kenwood is about 15 years old .

Beware, if you have a KM240 this dough hook will not fit.
