This is a great kneeboard. As they say in many classes for first responders “if you didn’t write it down, it didn’t happen”. I bought this for a wilderness medical pack to keep soap notes on. The clipboard is not completely rigid and has some bend but not enough to be problematic.I love the pen holders for keeping items together while moving around. The little pouch even holds a pulse oximeter nicely.I would not wear this while on a hike but if someone gets injured you can put this on, keep your notes and pens handy, and still get up and move around your patient.

Excellent for what I use it for (I am big into flight simulators) so meets all expectations.

I was looking for a replacement kneeboard as my old hard plastic kneeboard was just not cutting it for me anymore. While my needs are simple, the ability to add rings to the kneeboard is a welcome addition.

I purchased this as a gift for my brother. At the time I purchased I didn't know much on what he'd need when flying. I researched brands and found that Flyboys is one of the top rated brands for pilots. I was excited to see my brothers reaction when opening. Once he did, he immediately started transferring his pilot gear into the compartments. This will easily fit an iPad, notebook on the flat surface. Binder rings do not come included, but flying is an expensive hobby...binder rings are not. The clear strap secures your iPad as well as a notebook clip up top for notebooks or logs. The clear strap looks to be removable and wouldn't get in the way of writing or swiping on the iPad, strictly there for keeping items secure. All in all, my brother enjoys it and can't wait to use it.
