Great Book, Good for Writers Who Need New Ideas!
I used black gell pens in this book, and although the pages were not very thick, they held the ink well without leaking though. The text is a little small, but the font is easy to read, and the line spaces are good for people with big handwriting. Some of the prompts are very american, such as one involving thanksgiving, and another involving an american baseball team. But overall the book is very high quality and very fun! I've done about a third of the book so far, and cant wait to do more!

Very creative and handy.
Bought for myself to help relieve stress and get my brain working. Looking through the book, it has a range of ideas and contexts, and realised I will be able to use a lot of it for starting points or plenaries being a teacher! Cannot wait to start working through it properly; brilliant idea.Quality of the product is fantastic, a nice cross between paper and hardback. The pages inside are a good quality and thickness.Very good quality for money overall! Definitely recommend.

Its a great little writers prompt for fun (warm up)
This is fun and a great warm up for writers who want a little prompt here and there, to get there juices flowing.I like that you can write directly into the book,The paper is high quality. Where and when there is not enough space to write all that I want or the particular prompt has encouraged lots of creative flow I just write into a separate notebook.A few prompts difficult to understand because of grammatical and some American references but there few and far between, You can easily forgive, anybody with half a brain can make the appropriate substitute.I have the little min version of this, just so I can carry it about in my handbag. This version is a little bit big but handy for around the houseIve had hours of fun with it. better than adult colouring books

A Houseplant Is Dying, My example by Victoria Wilkins:
A Houseplant is dying.Tell it why it needs to live. You really need to live little houseplant. I bought you because years ago I painted a picture for a lady at the Rainbow Centre who was helping me with managing my bills and my debts. I used to go there for a dinner, as there is a lovely café selling home cooked food. Lots of homeless people go there and people who are struggling to cope. I was one of them.Anyway, Jan the lady who was helping me said she would take me to Marks and Spencer’s and buy me a plant for painting her the picture. So we went to the shop and I chose a peace Lilly just like you. Unfortunately my health was deteriorating and I stopped going to the Rainbow Centre. I didn’t know what time of day it was, or whether it was a weekday or the weekend. I forgot all about my Peace Lilly plant and it died.So I recently replaced my Peace Lily and I really don’t want you to die. I am well now and should be able to look after you and keep you alive. So please don’t die or this memory of my painting and the lady who helped me will die again. If you live and I keep watering you every day it is a symbol of how far I have come and how so much better life is now.A Houseplant is dying.Tell it why it needs to live.Written by Victoria WilkinsFrom 642 Things to Write About by The San Francisco Writers Grotto

This is a really good book and pushes you to think
This is a really good book and pushes you to think. It's fun but at the same time I've found some of the writing tasks too difficult. Which is my fault, not that of the book. Which is why I bought it, to push myself out of my box.

Cheaper they are more likely they will have been used.
Bargain at £2.50. Not really what I expected, more like journal prompts than story prompts. Also it had been used by the previous owner which was both weird and stalkery!! Could tipex over but there was a lot so not sure. Glad didn't pay full price as would've been disappointed for the price. Great idea just not for me.

Prompts to inspire the imagination
I haven't had much time to use this quite honestly, but I've enjoyed the times I have. the prompts are so random it really feeds your imagination ( "Write an ode to an onion" I kid you not!) and is definitely a great book to turn to when you're in a creative slump/ have writer's block. :)

Splendido!

Brilliant!! A Must Buy for people who Love to write!!
The best decision I took this year so far was to order this journal. It is for those who love writing and can make up and tell stories at the drop of a hat. It helps your creative juices to flow and is a must if you are an aspiring writer. It can also serve as a bank for your memories. I will be buying the second part as well. The prompts are great. The quality of the book is excellent and is worth the bucks you pay to get it. But I wish the delivery was a bit faster.

soooo good - einfach genial

Recommended for anyone who loves to write!
I bought this book for myself because I love to write, and it sounded like it would be fun to curl up and do some of these exercises. I've done a few of them now, and they're great! There are so many different ways to use this book. I'm using it pretty literally; just finding exercises at random and completing them, dating them so that when I look back later I can see how my writing has evolved. I can also see how this book would be neat just for brainstorming ideas for short stories or novels. The book is beautifully bound, and the pages are perfect for writing in (not too glossy!). All in all, a really fun book for writers everywhere.
