My best purchase ever!
I needed a Bluetooth speaker for listening indoors at a small BBQ. The T4 did a perfect job. The sound is rich and clear. Yes, the bass could have been better, but I'd say it is enough. The price is absolutely ridiculous for the quality. I've dropped the device from 1.50 metres high twice and works perfectly and doesn't even have a scratch. Highly recommend the device. BRAVO for the build quality and the price.

Prefect for homeschooling as laptop speakers are not so loud anymore. Plus can connect to smart phone if someone else is using laptop.Comes with a jack if you have any connection problems. Sound quality is good. Can go REALLY loud if need be. Volume control is easier direct from laptop or my smart phone. For me, this was value for money.

Broke after 6 months
Update: I'm very disappointed to say this broke after 6 months light use. When you plug it in to charge the light comes in but nothing happens._________Works brilliantly, looks really cool. I got this primarily because it was the cheapest NFC speaker to go with my Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phone but I've also been using it a lot with my laptop for getting brilliant sound when watching movies (using the included 3.5mm headphone cable).

Ridiculously good for such a compact little unit
EDIT: Just spotted the price for this (05/01/2016) is over £50 - I paid no where near that, closer to £30 when I bought it! Original Five star review was based in part on value for money so revised down to four to reflect that.I bought this as a bit of a last minute gift idea for my daughter’s birthday and it actually became her favourite present! She loves it and it’s understandable why.Now of course audiophiles will polish their gold connectors and turn their nose up as they drop the needle on their retro record player but I say Pah! To you and you snobby ways, that’s not what a device like this is for.Pump it up too loud and have a song with heavy bass and yes it will burp along a bit and sure it’s not going to be as good as a high end system like a Sonos or whatever but when you hear how good these actually sound for so little money you start to wonder how some of the high end systems actually get away with charging what they do. There is plenty of bass up quite significant volume and there is good coverage across the whole tonal range. Speaking of volume it does go a lot louder than I expected it to be to the point where I have done the typical dad thing and shouted up the stairs for her to turn it down – she ignores me of course and rightfully so.Build quality looks great, sturdy unit with some weight in it, buttons look solid and it actually feels very nice to the touch.Battery life is good, it reckons about 10 hours and that seems pretty accurate.I actually first bought a Bluetooth speaker about 4 or 5 years ago, the Monster Clarity which was about £80 at the time although it’s a lot cheaper these days, in a like for like comparison this knocks the spots off the monster.

Great quality for the price
Amazing sound quality for a compact speaker at this price. Nice design and 'feel' and very easy to pair with my HTC One M8.

Not bad for a budget speaker
The T4 is fairly nicely styled, but it sort of looks too much like the more expensive Jambox speakers. Not necessarily a bad thing, but they could have put more design work into it. I like that it has NFC (located under the Tecevo logo) but its not the best implemented I've seen. The NFC doesn't connect all the time and I found Bluetooth to be a more reliable option. The speaker itself is fairly well made, featuring quite nice soft touch finish and full metal grille. Its actually one of the better built budget speakers I've reviewed. The speaker also features a useful LED indicator, well when I say useful I mean rather quite irritating. It flashes constantly for no reason, which is annoying. The T4 though is fairly compact and lightweight which makes it nice and portable. Battery life is fairly decent too, if you keep the volume under 65%.Now to the sound. Well this is where it loses quite a few marks. Yes the sound is ok, but it vibrates out of control when played slightly loud and if the speaker is on anything but a solid surface it will create vibrations of the surface and thus spoil the sound. However if you do have a very solid surface then the sound isn't bad, but nor is it good. The bass is very loose and lacking control and can quickly becoming overwhelming. The mid-range is overly harsh and lacking detail, vocals come through ok and you can hear them well enough, but again nothing to really write home about.Maybe I'm just being overly critical of it, but when somethings bad, you can say that its good, no matter the cost.I would score it a 3.5 / 5. It would have been 4.5 if the NFC worked properly and it sounded better. Overall its not bad and has a few nice features, but to be honest I would look elsewhere.
