This bulb allowed me to place it into a lamp base of my choosing to hopefully not detract from my pursuit of creating a pretty home. It's essentially my incognito grow light. Although I wish it had a warmer glow, the daylight color spectrum makes sense and I couldn't find an auto light with the automatic ramp up start and dimming end cycle that this bulb does. I did have an issue with the first bulb I put in because it wasn't responding to the remote and almost returned it. But I tried the second bulb in the box and it worked perfectly. I managed to request a replacement and it arrived in two days despite the fact that the original package took a week. Now I have two bulbs that work with the remote.My use for this light:My baby kaffir lime tree hadn't been doing so well. It's about 3 years old, but it hadn't put on any new growth in a long time. It did great the first year i had this tree, then nothing. After researching, I figured I needed more light. I live in a wooded zone 3 climate and plan to keep this plant indoors exclusively to help avoid mites and aphids which I've had to battle previously. It's been about three weeks using the grow light and I'm finally seeing little leaf buds. It made me quite happy after I had been worrying about it for over a year. Looking forward to seeing more growth thanks to this light.

Love these bulbs, the timer makes it so convenient and my plants grow nicely under these.

They are working as described. I cannot yet testify to bulb life, or if my plants will thrive under these or not.I love the built-in timers. Each bulb must be individually set. Don't misplace the included remote or these will be useless! Mine are on a dimmer switch and I don't get flutter, but there is negligible dimming controlfrom the wall switch.

So I have a bunch of these bulbs and they do the job and are quite bright. There are some interesting features that are controlled with an included remote like dimming and various timers (no Bluetooth or wifi). But the instructions are really difficult to understand. They were probably translated to English using google.So here’s how it works. First, there’s no internal clock so you cannot set the timers to turn on and off at a set time. If you want to set an on off program - the on cycle starts at whatever time you power on the bulb. On the remote, you can then set a time interval at which point it will turn off. So for example, if you first power on the light at 6 am and press the 18 hour button, the light will power off at midnight. It will then turn back on at 6 am. In this sense it’s a bit of an inconvenience. You could avoid this with a smart power outlet or an outlet timer.For the price, it’s amazing that it has any features beyond just being a light bulb so I do recommend it.

These are the best "bulb" grow lights I've purchased. I put them in my dining room overhead fan for plants on my table and they have mimicked outside time for my plants. I'm getting more for winter as I can use them in any type of lamp or ceiling light/fan. The first 4 I purchased in early spring and are still going strong. I love the fact that they have a timer. I've looked into others and they don't have the same lumens or remote ability at this price point AND it doesn't look like I have a bunch of linear grow lights everywhere. Would recommend.

These are alright, but not worth the price. The remote is finicky and the timer isn’t great (it keeps turning on earlier and earlier each day).
