I bought this lens knowing it was going to be a bit naff. I wanted the look and feel of a disposable film camera without the faff and this lens does that perfectly. The build quality and ‘feel’ of the lens is better then I expected

I have a spare Fuji XE2 that I wanted to have a really small lens on to make it super compact. This UFO lens really fits the bill. It's very well made and is dead easy to use.One thing it has is character, its not the sharpest or the best when it comes to IQ but it is fun to use. I use it exclusively on the XE2 set to black and white and I really enjoy the freedom it gives you to just have fun and not think. Whack it to infinity and your off.

I liked the tiny size and lens-cap concept - also the fixed aperture and minimal focus suited well for street photography. Unfortunately my sample was very soft on the left hand third - although reasonable elsewhere. Guess I'll have to save up for a Fujifilm XF18mm f2 (about 8 times the price). Shame there aren't more options out there.

Works nicely on my Fuji XT1 as a 27mm equivalent lens. Great for grab shots and resolution that allows enlarged portions of the image later. Also very compact no big lens to carry around.

Great image quality in a small package. Set camera to Auto shutter speed, ISO to 400, focus to Infinity, and you are good to go for an outdoors jaunt. f:6.3 is a tad small for indoors - but could be usable.People do not pay attention to the combo (mine's on a Fuji X-E3), so you are pretty much free to shoot away unquestioned. Depth of field for an effective 28mm lens is no issue at this f:stop.I have prints to 13" x 19" from this lens with no noticeable lack of quality. Highly recommended.

De calidad justa, pero suficiente para disfrutar con la cámara sin complicarse demasiado. Imágenes con aspecto muy particular, que compensa la falta de calidad, según lo que uno vaya buscando claro está. El hecho de poder ajustar el enfoque lo convierten en un objetivo mucho más versátil que la generación anterior.

Das Teil ist schlicht DIE Überraschung der letzten Jahre für mich. In meiner Jungend mußte man noch Zusammenhänge von Zeit und Blende kennen und wissen, was Schärfentiefe bedeutet. Ich bin also noch nicht ganz von dem Vollautomatismus der modernen DSLRs vereinnahmt. Dennoch liebe ich den AF wegen der nachlassenden Sehschärfe sprich Brille im Gesicht. Mit dem UFO braucht man sich darüber aber kaum Gedanken machen, einmal hat es keinen AF, zweitens braucht es das nicht. Es acht einfach Spaß damit zu "arbeiten". Die Ergebnisse sind von einer ganz charmanten Nichtperfektion die den Gegenpol zur Perfektion der Pixelpeeper ist. War für mich bei der letzten Städtetour ein Immer drauf Objektiv und ich habe es nicht bereut. Zeitautomatik mit Auto-ISO eingeschaltet, Entfernung auf Mitte und los. Man denkt bei der Bildgestaltung ganz anders als bei einem 35/0,95. Macht mir Laune! Die Mischung machts.
