Rate the item, not Amazon.
Let me cut to the chase: I pre-ordered the box set in October for £46.69 without knowing how "limited" it would be and was lucky enough to get one. Hooray for Amazon`s price promise! Just before the release date I read there were 300 allocated to the UK and 1500 in the US. I have no idea how many were allocated to Amazon, but it`s fair to say too many people would be upset. A day or so after release date I saw one for sale via an on-line retailer (rhymes with "splay") for just over £360! We`re all living in a capitalist society, as the song goes...Anyway, what are the "have nots" missing? Well, if we ignore the re-call on the Rammstein website due to production errors and missing or duplicate discs, it is fantastic.A good selection of "hits" (ah, if only it also included "Stripped"). An interesting disc full of remixes (all fine except for Devin Townsend`s "Rammlied" and Scooter`s "Pussy" which are a pretty bad). All their videos with some quite lengthy "making of`s" and a nifty little book with lyrics and pics. The 240 page book is CD-sized and is nice to have but would have been superb if it were the same size as the one from the "Volkerball" special edition. All the videos are fantastic with the exception of "Benzin" (great song, lousy video) and maybe "Mann Gegen Mann" (uh, not quite my "taste" but Till is very amusing in his thigh-high boots - somehow I kept thinking he looked a bit like Ozzy....strange).Call me cynical but I suspect in a few months, the record company will release a DVD of all the videos and "making of`s" so those who missed out on this box set shouldn`t feel too bad.Hopefully this review should remind readers that Amazon are not to blame for cancellations when a product is a limited edition. I`m sure they`d be happy to sell as many as they could get hold of.

These 6 Men Were MADE IN HEAVEN !!!!!
-Here we have 16 tracks from - THE BEST Band in the world EVER.EVER.EVER.EVER.!I think-Eat-Sleep-Drink +Rammstein+ and have done for many years!Yes there are many A-M-A-Z-I-N-G tracks that are missing on this 'best of' but that takes NOTHING away from the real GEMS that are present on this release.Alot of people will be divided on the release regarding the choice of tracks - but I believe they are the true stadium anthems! -This CD isnt really anything to go by with the 'MADE IN GERMANY' tour- as the set list is pretty different - but its still nice to hear an album with super tracks in a different order. There is little (if any!) change, regardng the 'Remastering' of all tracks.I have bought ALL 3 editions of this release (I am a mental fan and must own everything from R+ LOL)- The remixes are a bit iffy - but always make me chuckle when i listen - The funnist being the P***Y remix by Scooter! lol hahaha- The big metal tin with all videos is FAB! - but your be lucky to get it for a decent price now (it was limited) and i only see it on ebay now selling for £150-200 !!!!!Highlights on the album include -+KEINE LUST++MEIN TEIL++ICH WILL++SONNE++MEIN LAND+I would have LOVED to have seen these other songs on the album (my personal favs.)+ZWITTER++ASCHE ZU ASCHE++TE QUEIRO PUTA!++ICH TU DIR WEH+All in All a FANTASTIC release from my 6 GODs !!! - i really do hope this is not the end of Rammy and they continue to make the best music money can buy!+++BRING ON THE 24TH OF FEB 2012 - LONDON O2 GIG -.....ITS MY 24TH BIRTHDAY THAT DAY...woooo !!!!!

Just fantastic
The remixes didn't do it for me so much but the studio tracks are excellent

A brilliant album.
I didn't like the remixes. Raw Rammstein is best. Awesome vocals by Till Lindemann, drums just magic, lyrics - I don't speak German but Till's voice conveys all the emotion & meaning you could ask for. I really liked the slower track. A real showcase of this band's diversity. Highly recommend for listening.

If you like rock music, then you'll love this!
You don't need to understand German to enjoy great-sounding rock music. This album is fantastic. Some of the remixes are absolutely banging too.

Awesome!
I'm just getting into Rammstein. I know, decades late. But, boy what an introduction this album is! After stumbling upon 'Du Hast' the 'Live in Paris' video on YouTube which blew my mind, I was really excited to get my first Rammstein album. I went for this album 'Made in Germany' as it was a Greatest Hits type album with remixes on CD two. Better late than never! I love every song on the album apart from Mütter which is ok but not as exciting as the others. Rammstein have a new fan for life because of this album! Fantastic introduction to Rammstein for anyone interested in discovering the band. 5 stars

It Might All Be In German, But Don’t Let It Put You Off
I am about 20 years late to the Rammstein party, but better late than never. What a cracking album, the majority of the songs are the driving industrial rock that Rammstein do so well, but there are couple of (slightly) slower ones that make this collection so compelling. It doesn’t matter that it is all in German, well almost all of it, you get carried along with the songs anyway. If you have time, look up the band on the internet, and find out about the themes for some of the songs, it is definitely worth it. Also a little go on google translate for some of the German goes a long way too. Highlights for me are ‘Du Hast’, ‘Sonne’, ‘Ohne dich’ and ‘Meinland’. I got the ‘Special Edition’ with the CD of remixes, and some of them are what you might call ‘interesting’, but definitely worth a listen.Buy this album!
