MagnetPal is a very strong magnet that I plan to use not only as "stud finder" but also as a strong easy to use magnet. I'm sure it will come in very handy for many different uses.

Great for finding drywall screws in walls.
Remains to be seen if the magnet stays inside the casing - what I've found historically with these is that the glue fails and the magnet comes out of the casing.But so far so good. Using it to find drywall screws and it's perfect for that. Sticks right to the wall where there is a screw

WHAT A JOKE!!!
This magnet was supposed to be an inch and eighth wide according to the product dimensions in the listing. As you can see in the picture, it is the width of my pinky finger. It measures exactly 1/2 inch wide less than half of what they said it is. It’s also not a very good magnet waste of money. Couldn’t be more disappointed in the dishonesty of this listing. Barbie Magnet.

Worthless on plaster wall
I specifically bought this to find studs in plaster walls. Works well finding screws and nails in drywall but worthless for plaster walls based on my experience.
