Works great
These compressors worked great for my coil springs on my e36. It's cheaper than loaning a used one from AutoZone and you get to keep it. Great tool to have in your tool collection if you're a home mechanic. I recommend adding a little grease to the threads anytime you use it. You can simply use a half inch drive ratchet or a socket. Did what I needed and solid quality.

Works great and seems very safe.
Bought this to pair new 3” lifted springs and Bilstein shocks for my Jeep. These compressors worked great and made the installation possible. I understand the concerns of using spring compressors but these worked flawlessly and safely allowed me to fit the springs to the shocks.

High quality spring compressor
Used this tool to install new struts in my Honda Civic, as the new struts did not come with springs. Followed the clear directions and the spring compressed very easily and transferred without an issue to the new strut. I was very happy with the result and would recommend this product to anyone who needs a decent spring compressor.

A great strut spring tool
It’s designed for light duty and maybe some medium duty struts. It handled my front struts on my 2012 Acura TL and the safety locks worked great. Money well spent!
