This is awesome, clear display, fairly easy to fit and use, the camera side is very good for the money and the wireless CarPlay works a treat. It’s really nice to have the sat nav in eyeshot and the fact you can split the view between an app and front cam or even the reversing cam provided in the kit.The software can lag at times but not very often, the wiring could do with a on off switch on the cigar lighter adaptor, cable runs suck a little (they do with all tragic cams anyways) mounting rubbers are too easily snapped while fitting.All in all, great price for a great bit of kit, fitted to a old scool VWT4 it’s done more than I could ask are a crazy good price!

Unit had a smell , driving along road seen smoke , fired straight out of the car at 70 mph, it has burned the original rear view mirror , asked many to comment….zero reply

UPDATED REVIEW. I originally brought this unit for Android Auto to be broadcast to the FM radio in my 2006 Mazda MX5, which does not have an aux port. It was the second unit I brought from two different manufacturers. The screen is good, connection time is good and there is no lag. Fornt and rear cameras work well and are of good quality. I was happy with the unit, but could not use it, as like the first unit I brought, the transmitted FM audio quality to your radio is really poor and distorted. I left a one star review and planned on returning the unit, but in the meantime, discovered it was possible to add an Aux lead to my original radio for a few pounds by removing the radio and plugging in a new lead. I ordered one, plugged it in and then tried this Android Auto unit connected to the Aux lead of my radio. The audio quality was much improved and very usable. I was delighted and pleased. In the meantime, lurking in my Junk Mail, were some emails from the seller, apologising for the bad experience and offering me a full refund whilst keeping the unit. I was impressed with the customer service, and now, pleased that I could use the product as intended via the Aux lead, hence this amended review. What I still must stress though is that both this unit and the other from a different manufacturer do NOT work well over FM. If you were intending to use it that way, you will still be disappointed, so I urge you to research if you can add an Aux lead to your radio to make use of the product. I hope the maufacturers make the effort to improve FM quality. Otherwise the unit works well and fits in the car nicely. I did have to add a little Superglue to the rear view mirror once it was in place otherwise the weight of the unit caused the mirror to drop, but the glue has fixed that. I am now pleased with the unit and my experience with Rimoody.

There seams to be a problem with the camera retaining the time and date. The mirror camera has been dardwired but every time I switch the car on I have to reset the time and date.The problem is now resolved. I must say that the help and quick response from the seller as been first class

I received the mirror dashcam and checked initially and noticed that the voice commands which we give are not working, nothing happening in the camera. Please tell me a solution to fix this voice control...I did give the exact same commands as written down in the voice control menu, but nothing happening in the mirror dash cam.

FM transmitter constantly becomes fuzzy. So whenever you connect your phone either via Android auto or Carplay to listen to music or Navigation, you will only be greated with fuzzy or static sound and after sometime, you WILL get annoyed and disconnect your phone.Don't even think about using it for handsfree voice calls. Only thing you will get is static interference.AVOID AVOID AVOID. Do NOT go buy the '5' star review.*****UPDATE*****Seller has reached out to explain that the static maybe due to older software & have agreed to send out a replacement.I have therefore changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars due to the customer service which is overwhelming. Will update once I receive or do not receive the replacement. Will give it 7 days.
