This is the second case I bought for my iPad 9.7". The other one lasted years and it just became a bit tatty after constant use. I like the way this fits around the iPad. I wanted to get a identical fitting case so was glad to find that these were still available. Definitely recommended

The case cover is so sturdy and protects the iPad well. It arrives all assembled and you have to deassemble it in order to fit it on the iPad- where it has a triangle on the rim and it states to push from there and it’ll come off I didn’t find that instruction worked for me however I YouTubed it and a demonstration showed me another way of taking it from the corners and it was so much easier... absolutely love the protection and the front screen flap which covers the screen when not in use and it turns the screen blank. Would defiantly buy this again-looks professional and it’s sturdy- ipad is armoured to protection! The iPad hasn’t fallen yet (no doubt it will at some point) so I can’t comment on that however I can’t imagine with it falling doing any damage to the iPad. I would recommend you put a clear screen protector on the screen of the iPad before securing the iPad into the case cover- hope this helps.

The case is attractive and quite substantial. I had considerable difficulty fitting it, and had to use a knife to prise the outer case off. The instructions weren’t particularly helpful. The base and outer edge give good protection, however, the top is flimsy and has no catch or magnet to encourage it to stay closed. If the iPad was dropped, the top is likely to flop open leaving the screen vulnerable to damage. The edge of the plastic case is raised which would give some protection, but is insufficient in my opinion. The top also gives insufficient protection for travelling. The screen protector is largely useless and I bought another one. Four is generous.

Perfect cover for me. I wanted a case/cover where the screen side of the cover was removable as the fixed ones tend to annoy me when folded back. On a day to day basis I will only use the back protector part of the case but wanted a removable front cover so the screen is protected if I take it out the house. The main case is very well constructed, it makes the iPad easier to hold and more comfy to hold. I'm confident the iPad would be well protected if dropped as the case covers the side bezels fully and the screen is now recessed inside the case so even with a face down fall it would be well cushioned from impact. The buttons fully work with the cover on and I can charge the iPad no problems. The front cover clips on when needed and I guess you could leave it on all the time if you wanted and fold it behind the iPad when using it. I'm going to get a spare just in the unlikely event that in a few years time I damage this case (or lose the cover) and can't find anything as good when I need it!

The case I bought for my son's New Apple iPad 9.7" (2018/2017) is really sturdy. The installation may be confusing for some, so read the guide carefully and apply moderate force when disconnecting the components of the case. I wish the case was packaged disassembled so that I wouldn't have to disconnect the parts and then reconnect them, but I realise it would require a larger box, which is not good in terms of logistics. Once installed, the case fits like a glove and provides excellent protection. I recommend this product.

Funny that one of the categories for grading is “easy to install”. This is a bloody nightmare to install, but that’s what I expect from a badass case.The case itself is good and sturdy, but the detachable cover is quite flimsy compared to the rest of it and it doesn’t feel very safe. It flaps around when it’s unfolded, but when you fold it up it doesn’t hold the shape as well as the (admittedly more expensive) covers you buy from the Apple Store. Still, good value for money!
