I have been using a conventional pencil for as long as I can remember and I am sick and tired of finding graphite on everything in my pencil case and eventually my hands. It is annoying and looks very dirty. I started looking for a mechanical pencil because I know you can retract the leads to prevent the mess that comes with regular pencils. I thought I might as well find a good mechanical pencil and I struck gold. The delguard is comfortable to hold, has a very nice finish on the barrel and looks good. I have nothing negative to say about the pen. The main thing why I bought the zebra delguard is that it protects the lead by using its own mechanism the metal cover covers the lead if enough pressure is applied preventing the lead from snapping like other mechanical pencils or regular pencils even. If you remove the metallic clicker thing at the top, you will find a small rubber which is very useful and can be replaced. A very clever and innovative product!

Great pencil , does what it says. I use this pencil for transferring designs onto wood/ Lino when using graphite paper to trace. When I used to use an ordinary mechanical pencil I found that the extra pressure I used to ensure my lines were being transferred to my block meant that my lead was always snapping, which is a pain. This pencil so far has lived up to its name and I have been able to press firmly without breaking my point every two minutes! Cheap but good quality , I recommend it for anyone who is frustrated with the point snapping off when you are in the middle of trying to do a nice clear steady precise line!

See my other review of the OLEeNU, that pencil is better than this one because the spring retraction mechanism is better. However, Zebra do make sexier products, and this pencil is definitely sexier than the OLEeNU.So, do as I did, get both, the practical, solid and comfortable OLEeNU, and slightly less forgiving but looking damned fine dressed in white Zebra.Who would think a man would get so worked up over pencilsUpdate:After a year or two, the OLEeNU has cracked in 3 places (different parts of the pencil) the materials are just weak. This pencil is the better of the two, still going strong.

The pencil works well, as expected it's very difficult to break. To be honest I haven't tried a different grade for the tip, the one that is sold with wears very easily and unevenly.

I needed a pencil (<=0.5mm) for marking wood. Even with H0-fillings, the lead would ALWAYS break on "normal" pencils. Then a fellow woodworker recommended the ZEBRA, so I got one too.and it works! No matter how hard or fast I mark on pieces of wood, the lead never breaks. The ZEBRA is also compatible with marking tools (such as the ones from INCRA).Of course, it works just as well on paper. It also lies very good in the hand, but this may be personal of course.

Okay I ordered this because I couldn't find my favourite faber-castell Mechanical pencil and they're not cheap to replace.I didn't look at reviews, I didnt look at the description I just bought it because it was quite cheap for an M pencil.I thought it was fine as far as M pencils go, since I'm quite heavy handed and break leads quite regularly, I only clicked out the tip of it and it was fine.But when I came to read the reviews after to write my own review, let me tell you, was I excited, I got up walked to my desk and tried pressing down as hard as I could and lo and behold the lead didn't break 🤩 I think I'll be getting a few of these in as well as some leads to go with them.I would also like to point out, since I love M pencil erasers, that the eraser could be a little better, it feels a little bit like plastic to use, it could have just been the paper I was using it on though I'll try it on others..But yeah, this was a superb find and I'm glad I bought it

This is a good quality pencil. The 0.5 lead is strong while still being a fine writer. It feels comfortable to use. This is actually the second one I have bought as I was happy with the first (no problems with the first, this one was for my work). I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap but good quality pencil.

The media could not be loaded.  Looked like a sturdy pencil but there were no refills included even though it says there are several times.So no big deal I thought! Wrong! Went to buy a refill pack and the pack is £19 for a few leads!!!. Too late to send back the pencil although it’s almost cheaper to buy a few pencils rather than the leads alone!I only want to do suduko… I know how to add up and this pencil doesn’t even make a zero.

Funktioniert prima in der Holzarbeit zum markieren von Linien. Bricht nicht ab. Ist sehr genau. Prima Tipp.

Pues si ha cumplido mis expectativas, si. Por diseño bonito, por agradable al tacto aunque sea plástico, por ese color blanco con detalles transparentes, por esa fina linea azul metalizada que me vuelve loquita, por su ligereza, comodidad en la zona de agarre que aunque no sea goma no escurre por los relieves que tiene y porque eso de que el mecanismo anti rotura Delguard de mina, a mi, dibujante exescultora muy enérgica, me funciona. Con tres clicks de mina no se me rompe tal como prometen. Aguanta y aguanta sesiones de dibujo. Estoy muy contenta con el portaminas.

Vraiment top, je l ai acheté pour y mettre mes mines rouges d esquisse qui cassent facilement et depuis plus de casse.

War schwer begeistert. Der Stift hält was er verspricht. Man kann noch so fest und noch so schnell die Mine auf das Papier drücken, sie wird nicht abbrechen. Habe schon mit sehr teuren Druckbleistiften gezeichnet aber dieser hier übertriff alle!

ottima qualità , davvero pratico nell'uso e migliore di tanti altri che sono più costosi. lo utilizzo per prendere anche appunti all'università ed è eccellente . ottimo il sistema che evita la rottura della mina. consiglio l'acquisto
