I'm really impressed
I wasn't sure how well this might work but wanted a nonchemical solution to curb the red mite population in my barn - I had geese brooding and a swallows nest.I keep 20+/- hens. The last few years redmite has been rampant.I used 2 tubes in early June (my barn is an old piggery so bigger than many setups) it is easy to use - like the old Shake n Vac, without the vac! There was a considerable decrease in mites within a few days. There has been no further infestations and this is now late August.I am very pleased and will certainly use this again.Although it is expensive, I feel it is worthwhile as it is so effective, and much safer than chemical products. You need to use the tube as soon as it arrives as the beasties are alive.Photo of Ryan Gosling, completely happy and mite-free

Great product
Does what it says on the tin, helped get rid of red mite in our coop, would definitely recommend

Limited success
This wasn't a successful strategy for me, not least because you can't tell good mites from bad mites when cleaning. Best option I have found so far is bleach and boiling water. Not much thrives in that.

Red mite infestation
We had a terrible red mite infestation after taking a hen from a friend. She was the only one the fox spared .She died a week later and my hens stopped laying .We removed the wooden nesting boxes and replaced with a plastic one .Applied dust, spray and gave an elixer in their water. After cleaning out the hens the red mites were climbing onto us !Adronolis arrived 1st June and within 3 days of application we had eggs .They are amazing tiny bugs .Look like dust really and round up the red mites surrounding them and then eating them .They have been doing this for 6 weeks now .We stopped cleaning so much incase we killed our predators .They do get everywhere on when you clean or collect eggs .Sounds very grim but it's working .

Not good
Purchased 2 of these 10 days apart. The red mite infestation has only got worse. A fairly expensive failure.

Best mites ever
Love these little mites, had a bad summer with the dreaded red mite, in four years of having chickens never had any, then bang out of nowhere loads. Just ordered some more as seen that they have returned in one of the egg boxes and will buy some more end of month to ensure all have gone. All I do is open the lid tip the whole contents in and leave the container in over night. Absolutely love these super mites

Red Mite Preventative
I only used about a third of the bottle in my small coop last July and no trace of red mite since. But too expensive unless for a large flock. Should be available in smaller quantities since it doesn't have a shelf life.
