Motion Sensor 5.8GHz Microwave HF Radar with Day Night Sensor Range 6 m for LED up to 400 W

I have now bought three of these for my garage fluorescent lights. Not terribly pretty but OK in a garage or maybe hidden in a light fitting. They work very well. If I turn the garage door handle at least one comes on. As my garage is quite dark inside I set them to come on even in the daytime. I set them to stay on for 30secs after I leave. They require some measure of electrical skill. i.e there is an obvious need to switch off the mains as these are mains powered and the lead to the lights has to be cut, stripped and pushed in to the sockets on the unit, which are quite nicely made.

easy to install and reliable operation. I mounted inside light fitting for use on stairs at night and leave light switched on with the built in timer delay. I use a range of about 5m. The only criticism is the lux adjustment which is a simple switch offering two levels to avoid trigger when light. A more precise variable adjustment would be preferred but a few bits of translucent tape and a light pipe (bit of bent perspex rod) helped. Worth the extra cost for the reliability.

Excellent product. I was able to modify an existing light fitting on my porch to work automatically when motion detected after dark which has saved me a lot of electricity
