Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (PS3)

It's cool to see Harry Potter games in Brilliant HD quality, I've never expected it!

I don't know really what to say about this game, other that it is a major dissapointment. I thought that the makers of the games had found a perfect way to make the games as they went along, the first four games weren't fab but they weren't awful either. The fifth and sixth however, had great gameplay and were loads of fun, I loved the fact that you had to wave the right analog stick in a certain way to make certain spells, and the duels were brilliant.But then they made this game. Completetly different to the other... and not in a good way! I am deeply dissapointed with this one, why would you ruin the last couple of games in this way? You have to cycle through your spells in this one and then simply rapidly press the R1 or R2 button to fire (can't remember which) wheres the fun in that?Thats not to mention the awful sub tasks... where have these popped up from, why cant you just stick to the storyline? They are quite frankly awful and have nothing to do with the deathly hallows storyline and they aren't needed!All I can say is that if the gameplay and storyline is as bad as this in part 2 then I will certainly not be buying it to play but rather just to complete the collection.

brand new and great price for an older game wasn't for me was for my partner so he loves it

This game is reasonably good, however, it does trial off and not focus on the story line at some points. At these points you have to complete 3 missions, before you can continue, some can be boring and take time. These have been added to make the game longer. In some sense these are useful as otherwise the game would be much shorter and they can help you adapt to the game as well.When you are following the story line, it feels like you are really Harry Potter and trying to accomplish his mission. It is great fun and I would recommend for anyone to get it.It was well packaged and came on time.

I have all of the Harry potter Games, and this is the worst, on par with the goblet of fire game.The gameplay is basic, the story mode is short and the locations are repeated many times. there are random variations from the story that add length and have to be completed, yet many things that do matter have been removed.It advertises many opponents, yet the same 3 or 4 are repeated.Disappointed in this game, just hope the next will be better.

Watching my daughter play these games is like watching a bonus Harry Potter movie, with a slightly crazed director.
