For the price.
Never thought I’d need one of these as when I were a lad we could leave our doors open. Neighbours would come and go freely, strangers too. Often tidy up for you as well. Still fit thus as a replacement in under 10 minutes, during which time somebody came in back door and stole my cash from under the mattress. When the neighbours get back from their cruise I’ll ask if they saw owt.

Just works No problems
I was a bit concerned about the quality of this Yale cylinder as it was at the cheap end at just £6.99 but it was not an issue at all.Nothing remarkable it just fits in place of the old one and works fine.

Budget item
This is a typical budget item even though it is from Yale. I compared it with the old one which is a solid cast whereas this one is coated/wrapped in a chrome-like metal outer. Consequently it won't fit properly until I buy some longer connecting screws. Disappointing.
