Oh yes! it works :)
It's amazing how this works. I've used it to add buttons on all my pillow covers. Please see a video before trying as using the wrong side will not work. The first I just tried it and was placing the button and its fastener on the wrong side of the fastener and hence it didn't work.Also, do keep in mind to use multiple layers of clothing to fix the button using it on a single layer of cloth will not fit properly and may tear the cloth. Very happy with the purchase.

Doesn't work on thick or layered cloth
It only works, and thattoo I will not say perfectly on very thin layer cloth, I used on a frock, there were 2-3 layers, it did not fix well, and if it somehow fix a little bit, it comes out when u close n open the bottons in first use only, there claws are not very long and does not fix. So waste of money for me.
