Whore
This was my first pick from Matt Shaw and wow wow wow...Absolutely brilliant. I really appreciate the way the chapters were set out so the reader doesn't get confused and the jumps in time I feel are good for the story to flow well. I'll be ingesting more Matt Shaw after Whore! (Hey, that rhymed).

Very good
I actually really enjoyed this book, the protagonist was interesting and had a lot of character, her story was sad and explained why she did what she did to men who were in relationships. But I feel the end was rushed a bit and I would have liked a bit more, but that might just be me being greedy lol all in all though it's was good.

One of the best black covers
Though not as gory, this book is definitely one of the best from Shaw. A painful conclusion which makes you feel a little violated. Definitely recommend.

The writer had good flowing prose so it wasn't difficult to read and the idea of the book was interesting to me. However, it was clear that it wasn't written by a real abused woman and the protagonist seemed to view murder as being quite trivial. I predicted the ending right at the beginning but I kept reading because I thought there would be more depth to the revelation and more to the actual story but it just gave the 'twist' and then ended.I give it 3 stars because I like the writer's prose and I've read a fair few absolutely awful books lately, this not really being one of them. The story itself was a good idea and could be expanded on to create a really good novel. It just felt like this one had been churned out quickly without effort to reach it's full potential.

Great book !
Don't let the title put you off - this is a great read !I read this in a day - I honestly could not put it down . It's not one of those books that draws out all the descriptions, going round the houses to make a point, it's gets straight there - great characters !Now I've found this talented author, his books are all I've been reading , can't wait to read more

A enjoyable quick read
Pretty good story. Sick as we expect from Shaw and flew through it in one sitting. A little different from his other more hard core books I've read. A little more like Love Life. Loved the story but I didn't love the end hence the four stars.

Read it in one sitting
I really enjoyed this book and gave it 5 stars for that reason. There were some grammatical errors and some areas where there was a jump between present and past tense, but the story line was brilliant and the twist at the end came completely unexpected. I would never have guessed it.Highly recommend it if you're as twisted as I am!

A very sensitive story
Read at your own risk, the more I read, the more it felt like I was sinking in a sea of emotions and my brain was rattling in a wrong way, it feels like I have tinnitus now after finishing it.The story is about an prostitute, it goes back and forth between present and past, slowly the dots get connected, and the more secrets are revealed the more it hits hard, but despite all this I loved the story, and I especially liked the author way of writing, it's simple, concise and sucks you in the perspective of character.

strange book
Was pretty boring for me but I didn’t predict the end. I probably wouldn’t have finished it if it was longer.

predictable
The storyline is predictable and quite silly. The book is small, it looks like a paragraph of a real book!
