Excellent quality and value for money
Love, love, love these journals. The paper is excellent quality, takes paint well, and it is pretty sturdy. The covers are really hard and extend well beyond the pages, thus protecting them. They are perfect for decorating, I painted mine with acrylics, and they also act as a firm surface when drawing on your lap.The fabric covered spine is flexible and paintable too. The texture of the cover a little rough, a bit like fine hessian, so would take glued items well too. However, leaving them as they are is also a great option as they look really stylish, yet immensely practical. Not to forget that the price represents excellent value. I will definitely be buying more of these to use as my art journals and travel journals.

Good quality paper
This is an excellent sketchbook. Strong binding and back covers. Paper quality ideal for some wet work as well as dry drawing. A great versatile sketchbook at a nice price. I'll buy more.

Great price, excellent quality.
I bought a couple of sketchbooks to do some mixed media pages. Using mostly acrylic paints and ink sprays. Although I've not tried/tested them yet, the pages of the books are good thick quality and presumably will do the job. Love the natural, raw look and feel of the cover, very urban. And the spine is excellent, sturdy quality so I'm not worried about the pages falling out.Great value for money as the only other sketchbook I could find similar was 160gsm and cost £11 so all in all I feel an excellent purchase! So much so that I have gone on to purchase 3 of the A5 sketchbooks from the same company. Will be back to review once tried and tested.

My project book
Lovely, sturdy sketchbook, excellent quality paper, really well bound, love the recycled board cover, really well made. I've used this as my project book for recording things that I make as a felter. I can see myself having a few volumes of these.

Perfect!
The paper quality is perfect for a light wash of watercolour! I love the rustic look the cover had! The edges of the cover were a little sharp when first purchased but became softer eventually! Defo value for money and shall be purchasing another very soon!

Great quality paper and it looks good
The book looks very natural and pleasant. The cover is rough and sturdy, but I believe the corners will wear in time (Cat or dog hair gets easily caught on the cover). The main point is that the paper is really great quality and the pages seem strong. My colours don't bleed through the pages (water colour and ink), which is great, so I can use it on both sides. Really good value for money (£7.99). I got another one for my grandmother and she loved it.

a really long review of a notebook.
The first thing you may notice is that it is far heavier than you would expect; this indicates the quality and thickness of the materials used. The front cover is very rigid and strong. The cover looks and feels like the material of some kind of a sack, like a potato sack, I personally like this feel. It's a large sized notebook, and other than some writing on the back that says enviro or something, it is completely plain . the pages are thick and would allow heavy materials like felt tip. Also the pages may be recycled, yet they are not irregular, meaning they are pure white rectangles.Sorry for the extravagant review of a seemingly simple object. If you can spare the cash then buy it you won't be disappointed.

I love it
I think it's great.I was reluctant to buy it because it didn't have a lot of files and i generally draw only on one side, but who knew you could draw on both sides if the sketchbook is of quality.I addrd 6 pictures of my drawings. The purple one is made with watercolor brush pens/liner, and the second is a lot of gouache. Each set has a photo of the drawing from the other side, and then when it's laid flat agains the other files. Neither come through on the other side and i can draw freely without worrying about bleeding. (Neither the markers or pain are high quality.)I'd definitely buy it again. The painted page crumpled up a little but that's my fault for being stupid with it.4What i will say is that a few pages came with a bent corner but I didn't care about that.
