Just had these installed today by an electrician. He said they were easy to install. Solid quality light. I have used GU10 hive bulbs as I already have the hive central heating. Now I can control my lights too on timers. They look stunning

Feels and looks like good quality stainless steel and a good solid construction. looks good at night when lit up and enhances the front of the house, only time will tell how they last but should go for many many years, would definitely buy again.

Good quality, solid stainless steel light fittings for external use particularly in coastal regions. Easy to change the bulbs when necessary. Benefits from an occasional wipe over with a light coat of 3in1 oil to maintain the finish.

Have already bought one a couple of years ago and it’s still looking great so I know that it is a quality product. My only dislike is because the bulb finishes pretty flush with the casing it makes it quite difficult to fit the bulb because there’s no room to grip the bulb properly!,

To be honest, I’ve never left a review before but this item deserves some recognition. As soon as you unpack this item it won’t take you long before you realise that you’ve bought a quality product. This fitting has a real weighty feel about it and the finishing is impeccable. It has substantial rubber seals on all parts that have a screw thread to prevent water ingress. Personally, I’d say that the most impressive part about this fitting is the base. I feel that this is something that gets over looked when purchasing lighting. Almost all of the other competitors in this line-up do present a decent looking lamp but continue to let themselves down by providing a flimsy plastic base that's prone to cracking and distorting!The base of this unit is machined out of the same marine grade stainless steel as the fitting and, with the aid of a silicone seal, inserts into the main light fitting like a glove. The rear of the base also has a silicone gasket that needs to be pierced to allow the cable to enter from the centre.Once the base is attached to the wall you are free to adjust the angle of the main fitting to get your preferred position. Once you are happy then just tighten down the 3 grub screws to prevent any further rotation and that's it!As mentioned by others, these are not the cheapest examples of this style of lamp. Having said that, this is very much an example of “you get what you pay for”Hopefully this will help some others with the same doubts that I had.

I bought these as they are supposedly 316L Stainless Steel i.e. Marine Grade.However, ours have gone rusty and are marked. I have asked for a copy of the Material Certificate, for confirmation of the grade of Stainless Steel used, which they refuse to do.I have a 304 Stainless Steel (low grade S/S) shower outside (we are using these in Spain) which is still perfect and shiny, despite being outside for over 10 years.Although these lights are very well made, do not expect them to remain bright and shiny if you are near the sea.
