A lovely toy which we hope our Granddaughter will find not only fun to play with but also one which will develop her potential to solve problems in years to come.My main gripe is with supplier who thought it reasonable to despatch it to us with 3 labels stuck onto the plastic wrap covering the box itself! i and everyone else who handled this item through the delivery chain could have known the exact contents and it is my opinion that the item could have been stolen and sold "as new" by anyone would could have removed the labels! My wife also made the point that should any child have seen what was being delivered to the door would have had an early glimpse of a present! Both a penny pinching and thoughtless supplier !!!!!!!

These are a hit in this house! We have had so much fun putting them together and everyone seems to enjoy doing different things. We bought these as a birthday present for my son who turned three, but our 7 and 9 year old children love them, as well. In fact, the whole family has been building crazy things, including us parents. :) They are pretty easy to put together, and as I said, my 3 year old has no problems fitting things except for a couple small pin parts (about 2 cm long) which I removed as I felt they were not safe for him.The parts are cheerful and satisfying to click together, and feel sturdy.My only "con" would be the price, which was a bit high for our budget, but we definitely are glad we got them. Highly recommended.

I bought this toy for my son when he was turning 3. He's now 4 and his older brother is nearly 6 and both of them have been playing regularly with this toy for over a year now. They don't really use it as intended but seem to build what they call guns everytime! But it always seems to initiate some great imaginitive play for both of them. Rarely a day passes by that this toy is not touched. One point against the toy is that some of the pieces are hard to pull apart, so my help is regualrly called on. But I can have difficulty with them too. But it hasn't deterred from their enjoyment of the toy. Probably need to get a second set soon. :)

I think this set is fantastic, giving hours of enjoyment, and that's just me! In all seriousness I'm impressed with this system; it's simple enough to be tackled by my 3 year old but dynamic enough to keep all ages engaged. As my kids grow I'm going to be supplementing it with other sets.The number of pieces within the set is good, thus allowing two children and an adult to build smallish models at the same time, or to combine efforts into something larger. The pieces are robust and show no signs of easily breaking. Highly recommended.

Im madly in love with this toy. so is my husband and my girls do get engaged with it when a adult get its out. both my girls (2 and 5) focus heavily on role play so its a challenge to draw them into something more linear, a problem solving type activity. the bright colours and 'girly' theme here works a treat and we've had some great chats about physical forces. i love this engineering toy aimed at girls its got years of use ahead, Its also very sturdy and with a bit of practice my 5 year old can add cogs and flowers.

Wow these gears are brilliant. Ordered at special price and delivery was quick.My 4 year old loves making and building things and plays with these alot, which keeps him entertained for hours plus you can make so many different things with them, even as a adult I enjoy building stuff with them!!!.Some friends have seen my son playing with these and been so impressed that they are going to purchase some for there children. So glad I bought these such a brilliant product which will last for years.

My daughter absolutely loves the toy. The reason for fewer stars is the price. The bucket is a very good addition to store the pieces but I feel that that has added up more to the price. Instead of the bucket, they could have given more base pieces to build upon.

Got for young relative and put together for them. It is quite good with all the gears that could be made into different patterns. Some children might leave in pattern given and not try anything else, which would be a shame. Not easy for every child I expect, but then likely to be bought for children with good concentration and an interest in how things work. Would be nice if could have other pieces in separately bought boxes that could expand to make things like machines (as the way Lego is) - perhaps there are and I have not seen.

Endless hours of play and endless creations to be made. My children love this so much that I had to purchase a second one of these so the creations could be even more intense. Highly recommend for open ended play and imagination/engineering building

Un juguete durable, didáctico, para motivar a los pequeños a ser constantes hasta lograr el objetivo. Ojalá alguien me pudiera pasar una foto de las instrucciones porque las perdimos a 2 años de uso y mi hijo no juega igual desde entonces
