Impossible to String
There's no way to string the gun. Instructions were no help. Online videos showed a fellow using some sort of homemade workaround device. I should not have to build a contraption to string this gun.

Here is the trick to stringing this mini crossbow.
I love the manual... Get a friend to help you string this ! Ha !This is a nice little mini crossbow that you do have to take seriously even though it does look like a toy. There are a number of videos around with this shooting an arrow / bolt into a coconut. So if your significant other ever told you that you are stubborn and hard headed, keep in mind this can go into your coconut head on top of your shoulders. So, onto stringing this thing. Just get a nylon cord/rope as in picture I included which is .25 ¼ inch. You can use a smaller size which would be even easier as these are much stronger than you think. Make big loops on the ends and just long enough to slip over both sides. Then pull back with the hand drawer on the box to lock it in place. From there you just slip the bow string under and through the loop onto the bow endcap on both sides and release the first cord and remove. Wala, done.As for shooting this, it's ok. I didn't have time to zero it in and don't want to waste time with that on the original hard sights because I intend to put a Red Dot site on this which I have an extra to do that with. There is debate in the bow community whether you should keep your bow strung or unstrung while in storage. But many say they strung it and never took it off yet and it works just as good as day one. So, if you want to keep this around your house for home invasion coconut shooting, you may want to keep it strung.

You get what you pay for
I should have spent an extra $25-30 on a better bow. After finally getting the bow together (it took almost 90 minutes due to there being no instruction manual only a very basic one on the back of the box but was covered by shipping labels) was I able to fire an arrow off. The velocity is good and the arrow travels quite some distance with some good punch, but the accuracy is not the greatest

Patience is a virtue
The pictures on the box are too small to be of much use. Consider using the enlarged image from the web site. The Prod is a very tight fit into the stock. It will either tilt forward (top of Prod away from trigger) or backwards. The bow did not work when staring with Prod tilted backwards. It did not seat correctly. The accuator lever slid under and past bow string rather than lifing it to fire. Tilted forward to start, the Prod seated as expected into the stock when the screw was tightened. The previous suggestion to use a piece of rope for stringing the bow was excellent. I used pull cord from an old mini blind. Butcher twine might also work. I haven't used the bow enough to comment on its functionality. Just happy to get it to fire. Now I can return the replacement bow that I requested.

Bow string
The bow string was impossible to attach

Terrible design
The crossbow works but because of the design the string is damaged every time you use it. Within 20 shots the string was toast.
