TR Mens 3M Super Bright Reflective Jacket Coat

I don't normally write reviews, but honestly this jacket is so awesome I just had too. Seriously, if you get hit by a car while wearing this jacket, consider it to have been done on purpose. This thing is so bright that cars can see you from a quarter mile away at night. I walk my dog at night and unfortunately have had my fair share of run-ins with distracted drivers... Ever since getting this jacket, I've not had a single close call. In fact, I've had several cars pull over and ask me where I got this jacket from.It's not without its faults though. It's waterproof, so it's not breathable at all. It's also super thin, so I would consider it an overcoat for winter use - you definitely need something substantial underneath of this to stay warm. Finally, the sizing is a bit on the smaller side.

I mostly dress in all black, so I needed something reflective for night walks. As expected, this glows when lit (if seen the same angle it's being lit from). What I'm still a tad confused about though is why the zipper goes all the way to the top of the hood? It cannot be seen or breathed through, nor does this seem to somehow make it easier to hang (no inside loop, either) or clean, etc. Small side note: It arrived with some firm creases in it, and though I was a tad worried trying to steam it might damage the reflective material it seemed to hold up fine to a pretty standard hand steamer to get those creases out.

Highly reflective when lit up in the dark, yet looks neutral gray in daylight. I'm 5'-2" 145# and typically wear between S and M in jackets by different manufacturers and both sizes are usually too long for me. This one in size XL is no exception, so sized like most jackets off the rack if you order per the sizing recommendations, though it is a bit tight at the chest for me. Doesn't breath, so don't expect to go running or partake in other strenuous exercise with this. It has a weird zipper design - from bottom hem all the way up the hood so you can zip yourself up in it with no visibility. Haven't tested its water resistance yet, but looks and feels like it should do ok. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could, I just can't give it 5 stars due to its tight fit at the chest and non-breathability, but it was never advertised as such.

This reflective jacket is exactly as described. At first I ordered an XL not realizing it’s a men’s size XL. I returned it and got a Large. This size is still roomy and has a drawstring elastic cord at the bottom to tighten it if needed. Arm length and shoulders are true to size for men’s jackets. Quality is great, zippers work great, I love the zippered chest pocket for chapstick and a small wallet - plenty of room. I am a female, 5’ 8”, 165lbs, 38C and there is plenty of room to wear a hoodie underneath. If you’re a night dog walker don’t hesitate, buy one! It also has a silky inner lining. Thin for spring and fall but with a warm fleece top/hoodie underneath and I can wear all year for my outdoor errands. This is not a winter coat.

Fit was great. It will literally zip up all the way, to the top of the hood, but I wouldn't recommend doing that as you'll look like a kkk member. I actually never have it zipped up at all though as it doesn't breathe. My arms get sweaty and sticky when wearing.It is the most reflective thing you'll ever wear, it's nuts. I wear it nights when biking and if you get hit when wearing this then they are trying to kill you. It seems pretty waterproof too, but again 0 breathability. Whatever this material is it's probably bad for the planet or gives you cancer but it sure is cool😎. The picture I have is in a brightly lit room but with a camera flash reflecting off the jacket it makes the room look pitch black by comparison. It will only reflect light right back at the source or at certain angles. You will look like an optical illusion at times.

Polyester, saturated in seconds in the rain. Ordered three different sizes. All jackets had tags cut out. One had been worn washed and was still stained. Really just pretty crap quality. But it is reflective. So if you want it just to be seen then maybe it will work for you? I'm a small female and xs is big but layerable. Xxs more fitted. Oh and don't zip it all the way up, your face will be zipped closed and you will also in fact look like the KKK. What a doozy of an Amazon item.

I am extremely pleased with this product. Ordered and received the next day. Fit is perfect ( I am 160 lbs, and ordered the medium). The reflective coating is awesome. I put it on a chair and shined my car's headlights on it from 50 feet away and was amazed at how bright it was The zipper closes up to my chin which keeps out the wind and the hood, when down, covers the back of my neck making the jacket nice and warm. Other reviews mentioned poor fit and a chemical odor. Mine fit perfectly and there is no odor at all. My only minor quibble is that the pull for the zipper is on the left side instead of the standard right side which makes it a little awkward to use. But I am still very satisfied with the jacket.

Definitely order a size up on this one. Normally I would order a M but had to send it back and get a L in this one. The M was too tight across the shoulders. In all other men's sizing I get a M. It is an awesome jacket, so bright and reflective that people can't seem to stop staring at it. I do think the zipper all the way up to the tip top of the hood is a bit strange, you can zip your whole face up if you wanted. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and would buy it again.
