Johnstone's Garage Floor Paint - Tile Red 750ml

I have a basement/cellar, i first used a self leveling compound (cement) flooring to fix the floor, then i used this paint on top of it in white. It is advisable to do a first quote thinned with spirit first, then a day or two later when its completely dry, you do the second quote with the paint on it's own, the colour is brilliant white, really nice & bright, the area is 4m x 4m, one can was more that enough to cover the whole area with the 2 quotes, that's value for money at £33! the paint is thick, and because I used it in a closed area, it took 48 hours to cure, I personally like to leave it even longer to make sure it dries well before heavy foot traffic goes on it. Once painted, the floor can be cleaned easily, you can feel the strength of the paint, so far it didnt scratch, I do get the impression that it will last long and stand a lot of rough activity on it. My basement is used for storage, shelving units, tools, suitcases, and a utility room (washing machine&dryer) mopping the area and ensuring it's cleanliness won't be an issue anymore.

Good paint. Nice finish. Needs two coats. Absorbed into the surface and produced gaps.

My only criticism is it’s quite a nice red, but when it drys it darkens, but a nice good quality paint covers well, easy to use

Easy to apply, very good coverage. Keeps the garage looking much tidier.

Used on a rough finish concrete floor. Worked a treat. Of course it smells during application. It is a heavy duty paint. Best to give it days to dry. Where it pooled in the small dips of the concrete it took four to five days to properly set. Be patient with it. Its worth it. As a note. I had no issues at all as seen in some other reviews. That said, I prepared the surface properly beforehand. That is key.
