Soft, warm, and looks good
Works as both a shirt on cooler days, or as a light jacket over a T shirt. The material is soft and thick and the fit on the medium for me is good - not too tight, not too baggy. I had to return the first one due to a sewing defect but the replacement was fine.

Fantastic layer for winter
This is my second winter wearing this sweatshirt, and I’ve absolutely loved it. Since last year, I’ve sought out several pieces of winter gear from Carhartt because of how well they perform—especially this one.The inside is soft and comfortable, and the thumb loops in the sleeves are a thoughtful touch that keeps the sleeves in place when layering. The neutral gray color is versatile and pairs well with most of my outfits, making it easy to style casually or even for business casual occasions. On top of all that, Carhartt offers reasonable prices for the quality of their products, which makes them an even better value. It’s a reliable, comfortable, and versatile piece—highly recommend it!

Must have for cold weather
If you work outside these thermals are a must have. This thermal is thick and very warm. Looks great to wear alone or to wear as an under layer. I wanted it to fit snug but probably got a size to smalls going with a size up next time.

Warm!
I work outside all day and this shirt has kept me warm and dry! Being made of wool, it wicks moisture away from the skin. This is not a tight fitting thermal, rather a looser fitting, warm, wool shirt. It has a bit of a hefty price tag for what it is, but it will keep you warmer than your typical cotton shirt will. It seems durable and I don't expect any holes in it anytime soon.

No substitute for proper base layers
I have read reviews on over 50 different base layers, and this one has by far impressed me the most, after receiving it, I am not disappointed. There are many companies claiming "micro fleece" internal layer. After reading all the reviews, only 2 companies truly offer an actual fleece base layer, for the best wind and cold protection. Carhartt, and Under Armour. By far Carhartt has the best reviews, and if you work in the cold, I highly recommend their base layer products, especially this one.I wear size 32 waist, LG shirt, 175lb, 5'6" male, medium fits perfect.

One of my favorites
I know this is a base layer but I wear it all the time by itself, especially around the house. It's quite warm and really, really comfortable. I was like $71 for a base layer? But it's one of my favorite shirts now so not worried about it.
