Always to hand with no need to dissolve
I find this very useful for poaching chicken, boiling dumplings and making soup. A less salty stock than chicken cubes and dissolves instantly.

I use it mainly in soup & have been using it for years It is also great in stews ….Though I prefer the low salt vegan version as I can get more of it without increasing salt content & a stronger tastier result

Check the size when it arrives.....but a great product.
I ordered this 500g package by only a 150g one arrived. I queried it and all was resolved, but it looks as though the description doesn't match the item here. Apparently it should actually be a 150g package! I wouldn't pay any more than £2 for a 150g packet, so the £5 price tag for a 500g is in line with expectation. Notwithstanding this anomaly, the product is great for making soups and gravy and is a "Delia" staple, as well as making a nice savoury hot drink all on its own. It is a little high in salt but I don't need to watch the intake personally, but if you do, ther are low salt and vegan and organic options available, albeit with a slightly different taste.

While trying to watch my weight,I was recommended vegetable boulllion,not a bad price,nice flavour ,but saltiness let it down for me
