It works very good but be careful with the external state of the portafilter
The portafilter (not the basket) have a kind of little knocks in its structure. It looks like it has been hammered. However, it does not affect the function of the espresso machine neither the basket.

Great for learning how to get good shots
I have a Rocket machine and it fits really well. Before that I had the Gaggia version and that was great. These really help with learning how to make great coffee. The only thing to bear in mind is that this portafilter is nowhere near as heavy as the normal original, so there is less heat retention. Part of this is down to it being bottomless, but I am sure that an original would be slightly better in this regard.

Not compatible with Rocket machine
I purchased this for a Rocket Espresso machine and it sprays a fine mist either side of the portafilter. I am aware of the well reported issues with channeling, etc., where a bottomless portafilter can spray, but this is not to be the same. Perhaps there is an incompatibility with the Rocket E61 Brew Group, and other machines are fine, but my advice is to avoid this item and go for a Rocket original, which appears to be slightly different and is only a little more expensive.I am trying to return the item, however I have received a rather snooty response pointing me to videos and websites: basically they are telling me I do not know what I am doing. My advice - avoid the product and the seller.
