i like these a lot
Guitar strings are one of the most important parts of a guitar, and there are many different types to choose from. They come in different materials, sizes, and gauges, and each type has its own unique sound and feel. There are three main types of guitar strings: nylon, steel, and gut. Nylon strings are the most popular type for acoustic guitars, and they're also used on some electric guitars. They're made from a synthetic material, so they're less likely to break than other types of strings. Steel strings are the most common type of string for electric guitars, and they're also used on some acoustic guitars. They're made from a metal alloy, so they're very strong and durable. Gut strings were once the most popular type of string for acoustic guitars, but they're not as popular now because they're made from animal intestine, which can break easily. No matter what type of guitar you have, there's a type of string that's right for it. If you're not sure which type of string to get, ask your guitar teacher or a guitar store employee for help.

The quality you expect from D'Addario
I've used D'Addario strings on my acoustic, but this was my first set for my electric. As expect, they are the usual quality you would expect from D'Addario, they sound great, and they feel good beneath your fingers. For the price you are unlikely to find better, and could certainly do a lot worse. Highly recommended.

Drop G on a regular 24fret guitar
Needed adjustment of the truss rod, bridge and nut to take the thicker strings and to get the low E (now the low A) into intonation with the 12th fret; or is it 12th with the open - towards the 24th is naturally going to be off as the strings get heavier without a baritone neck..

EXCELLENT
Nice, clear sound on 3/4 size Squier Strat Mini.Really very surprised how much better these are on a short scale guitar than straight 10's.

Dodgy G string spoilt the set
Firstly, these are specifically for Nashville tuning, NOT a normal set of strings. People leaving bad reviews because they're 'odd gauges' need to read the description before purchasing.Right, now that's out of the way, these are nice, bright strings with good quality, colour-coded ball ends. However, the G string broke within an hour of playing. It didn't feel like it was up to the high tension required for Nashville tuning. I've replaced it with an Ernie Ball 9 that's more confidence inspiring. The rest of the set are great though.
